I've been seeing Dr. Yang for twenty years. My wife sees him as well. He's a brilliant Dr. -- he's certainly not a pill pusher...that's for sure. My wife is from Brazil & she said the medical school he graduated from is the best in the country. I hope he never retires!

Dr. Coleman wanted to make sure he found the right doctor for his patients. He found the perfect replacement. He is kind, thorough, listens to patient, and very knowledgeable. I moved to north Torrance from Redondo Beach, I drive 30 minutes to see him. I would drive even farther if I had too.

Been to Dr. Yang's office since I moved to PV in 2013. Excellent doctor, took good care of all my medical needs in the past. Gives good medical recommendations, and has a great personality. Equipment (beds etc) is a bit dated, but everything is very clean. Highly would recommend Dr. Yang for a family practician if you are local in the PVE area.

This place is horrible the Medical assistants are wonderful but the clinician is something else I feel scammed by the Dr.Yang a 15 min physical cost me 255 and he didnt do labs or any test really i feel robbed, dissatisfied with the his work ethic and patient experience.

Dr. Yang is a very effective 20th century GP, though it seems to me he doesn't spend much time on the latest medical research affecting his patient's health. Case in point, he does not know or employ the latest 21st century medical research involving cholesterol and cardio vascular events. He will prescribe statins at levels where most current research shows they are not only unnecessary but dangerous. If you want a GP that prescribes to the standard 20th century AMA practice of care, he's your man; if you want a GP that is up on the latest medical research and how it could affect your health, go elsewhere.

I have been a patient of this practice since 1992 under the previous physician, Dr. Colman. When his health dictated him selling his practice to Dr. Yang, I was apprehensive, but upon meeting him - and being greeted by his hug (his standard greeting for his patients), I decided that I would be remain as a patient. Now, 27 years later, my children and I are all cared for by Dr. Yang, and he remains a valuable asset to our health and our family. He is kind, warm and knowledgeable, and will get us to the right specialist or whatever we need. I love my doctor, and have referred him to other friends who needed a good Physician. He's the best.
