List of Moustafa Alamymd's Reviews
I have never met a rude and unprofessional Dr. in my life. Preferred California/La Care needs to do recruit better doctors under their system because Dr.Alamy has terrible bedside manners. He wasn’t listening to our concerns/chief complaint. He is also very unprofessional on his end. For instance, he was supposed to put in a MRI order for my mother (patient) and two weeks had gone by and he still hasn’t finished with his notes. Avoid this guy at all costs.
Took my grandmother here a few weeks ago and had a bad experience with Alamy Moustafa. I was on a call as I entered his office and I was going to end it already when he said that if I could end the call and then went on saying how it was unpolite to be on my phone in the office and I totally understand but I apologized but he just made me feel so uncomfortable. I only answered the call to say that I was going to call back so I didn't think it was a big deal. He also insisted on wanting to talk to my grandma but he couldn't communicate with her since he doesn't speak Spanish and my grandma doesn't understand English. Now we have to get another referral from the physician to see another specialist. I should have looked at reviews before going to him.
When are you open and hours every time I call it says to leave a message
Dr. Moustafa. A. Alamy, MD., has been my Gastroenterologist for many years. He is very professional , competent in his medical field and demontrates much compassion with his patients. I was initially diagnosed with two esophageal ulcers ,and varicies along with a shr segment Barrett's via endoscopy. A treatment plan was created by Dr. Alamy in which I was very compliant with. Every two years a servaillence scope was fine to ensure progress and reduction of GERD symptoms. I am very grateful to Dr. Alamy MD.'s intergrity and. Continuity of care......Mr. R.Rios
The office is always crowded! I need help! He just told me to go to the ER. Update edit: killed a cockroach in the bathroom. He was smashing ants on the counter while he was "listening" to me during the visit.
Performed sugery on a family member, did not leave any information regarding what he found during the surgery. Decided to discharge patient without telling the patient if the patient is alright to go or not, or even what the diagnosis was. Hardly communicated with the patient and family members. Had to ask charge nurse and other doctors to obtain information regarding the patient's health. He may be a good surgeon but he lacks any idea about public health and how to communicate with patients.
He diagnosed my father with necrotic pancreatitis and kept telling us that his chances of living was really low. Later after we had our family doctor assess the situation, we had him do more events to double check. It turned out that it wasn't necrotic and this doctor never even tested for it but just went off his previous experience. Double check this doctor. Always.
awful
The Doctor is truly knowledgeable and concerned about his patients. He is comprehensive in his approach and spends time with patients to ensure they understand the diagnosis and treatment plan. He is an excellent doctor with good staff to support him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
