A five star review below that was done by staff member...I was suppose to have an outpatient procedure done at 6am Aug 12th I woke up at 3am to get ready. I arrive in Culver City to SC Hospital to sign in and Im told that the doctor who seen me in paramount didnt send the referral slip for me to have the procedure for 6am they pushed it back to 11am so much for a COURTESY CALL. After I was told a five hour wait I leave back home to rest til I leave for a later time until Southern California Hospital in Culver City calls me and say there was a miscommunication with admissions and they thought I was being treated for a hernia which I was not. The nursing staff calls my insurance and said they would call me back...15 minutes later I receive a phone call back from Culver City to learn my procedure was CANCELLED and rescheduled for another day. I have been the main head of HOUSEHOLD for over a year without treatment I couldnt afford time off because my partner was in a car accident last year and out of work due to his injuries but has a job now so I can take time off and when I do this happens. I have been fasting since the day before with zero consumption of food been up since 3 this morning only for a QUACK not to do his job...if he or his staff cant communicate properly to schedule an appointment how am I suppose to have trust in him to do the procedure. My health is more important than your pocket...never disregard a patient and their TIME... Just retire

This so called Dr. has ruined my life!!! I had a Hernia Repair done by him back at the end of February of this year 2016 He Completely Botched Me my stomach is now Disfigured because of him I have a huge lump on my right side of my stomach with a huge Dent right in the center of my stomach I'm in so much pain it's crazy!! You can clearly tell the hernia came un done thru the inside all my muscles or veins are popping out and at the end of the cut you can clearly see like where he ended the sewing the knot came un done and it looks like what ever kind of wire they used looks like it's going thru poke thru my skin it's red irritated and I'm in a lot of pain. I just barely researched him on <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FVitals.com&s=fc528405a0d7bbff4ca88d715c1044a9c3a16875185cd25aa7683ab3642fa80c" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Vitals.com</a> where other people have bad reviews on him on malpractice. He was also on probation for god knows what please be very careful with this guy.

Dr. Mehrizi has well over three decades of experience and his expertise in the field of General Surgery is second to none. Excellent and efficient patient care, highly recommended!

I am sorry to say this, but all my encounters with this Doctor lasted about 15 seconds. I went the first time and immediately he suggested surgery "umbilical hernia" just after pressing on my stomach. I did not have a single form of MRI, or anything. I do not know if the procedure was needed, done correctly, or if it was just to make a quick dollar. I know I have had pain in my stomach, but few weeks later after surgery here I am in the exact same shape, and when I asked him a few questions he is quick to respond to me that everything went good and I got dismissed in less then 30 seconds. I do not know what to think, but I am going to get another opinion somewhere else. I still have pain.

dr. mehrizi is very good surgeon. he repaired my husband's hernia and we are very pleased with his service. i'll highly recommended him as a surgeon

Dr. Mehrizi performed surgery on me two weeks ago Monday. The following day I was released from the hospital. Felt great. Returned to work on Thursday and did my track work out on Saturday. The bottom line is for me to go in for surgery and feel great the next day is totally amazing.
