It is my belief that West Coast Dental of Paramount front office staff (who are all women) are actively committing insurance fraud against patients and various insurance carriers. I went to this office to get a broken tooth fixed. I do not have a cavity. This office proceeds to tell me my broken tooth is not considered restorative but cosmetic and that my insurance doesn't cover this. My insurance absolutely covers this procedure which I verified prior to going to this office and during my visit. My insurance got involved and personally spoke to a large woman who wears black glasses who is apparently the one handling front office matters. She blatantly lied to my insurance and told them the payment is for a different procedure that isn't covered. She then tells me I have to pay $700 out of pocket to which she was going to send this same bill to insurance for additional payment. This is insurance fraud and it's illegal. This seems to be a pattern inside this office with other patients with front office staff telling them their insurance doesn't cover procedures and getting them to pay large amounts of money upfront to then turn around and bill those patients insurance carriers for the same procedure they told the patient wasn't covered. The dentist is great! But the entire front office staff need to go!

Came in just for a check up with Dr. Honda. Turns out I had severe gingivitis and she was so wonderful and gave me a deep clean! Would come back! Very amazing service!!
