I had a retinal detachment and every week for a month, I went to his office. he was unprofessional and didn’t use the proper medical tools to determine my condition. Instead, he just told me he thinks nothing is wrong. Other doctors barely saved my eye. After that, he used a needle for glaucoma surgery and he ripped a part of my eye. Then, I was forced to get six surgeries for my eye, because of him. He is unethical and should have his license taken away. I recommend you don’t even consider him as your doctor and save yourself.

Dr. Solish performed glaucoma surgery on my grandma and he did a terrible job. After surgery, my grandmas eyes pressure went up tremendously. She ended having more problems.

Alfred Solish did his glaucoma "needling" procedure on me 20 years ago. The antimetabolite used in the procedure gave me a MASSIVE corneal abrasion in my 20/20 eye (other 20/70) which wouldn't heal properly, ultimately leaving a corneal scar. Dr. Solish would take NO REPONSIBILITY and said he couldn't imagine what had happened when he knew EXACTLY what had happened. Thank God for U.S.C. Doheny Eye Institute whose therapy mostly preserved my good eye vision. Dr. Solish is UNETHICAL.

Wonderful doctor, spends enormous time with each patient to really explain whats wrong and how it can be treated through different options. He has done wonders for my dads eye pressure. Can't recommend him more!

I was referred to Dr Solish by my opthalmologist because of a spike I had in eye pressure following cataract surgery. I had an 11:00 appointment and was called to be seen at 11:45. What followed was the most thorough exam I have ever had. The doctor and his staff went to great lengths to explain procedures and did not rush any portion of my exam. The doctor's evaluation and his drug prescriptions resulted in the abatement of a problem that had perplexed my excellent optalmologist for three weeks. If you are in a hurry and just want to get in and out of the office, Dr Solish is not for you. If you value your eyesight and want to continue to see for a long time to come, Dr Solich should be your first choice. And, contrary to some of the reviews I saw on this sight, Dr. Solish is really very personable and easy to talk to.

If you have glaucoma, this is the doctor to see. That's all he treats. Most opthamologists treat mostly cataracts and other eye problems and "glaucoma too". His practice is entirely treating glaucoma and other opthamologists refer their problem patients to him.

He may be good at what he does, but he is not above doing what is best to keep his practice running. My mother is 80 years old. He prescribed eye drops that retail,400.00And my mom on her fixed income is supposed to pay a 100.00 co-pay. After repeated attempt to get Dr. Solish to change the prescription to one that was comparable also , cheaper. The office manager Bea when speaking to our pharmacy stated "Dr Solish had seen improvement in her eyes since she has been using the Lumigan drops." My mother was never given samples so she had never even tried said drops. They have refused repeatedly to change the drops, stating she needs them and I am the unreasonable person in this matter. How could they Know how said drops work if my mother has never used them?Unprofessional to the highest degreeI am frustrated with the rude staff and will not be having my mother seeing a Dr. So untrustworthy.

Rude staff. Prescribed expensive eye drops and refused to help patient find comparable drops.(Which pharmacy found and Dr. Refused to change prescription) . Lied to pharmacy and said my mom had been using new drops and he had seen improvement. My mom has never been given a sample of eye drops. So how could he possibly know that they were working,? A liar and his staff is unhelpful and rude.

My mother is 80. She was prescribed by Dr Solish, Lumigan eye drops. These eye drops are 400.00 . When I her daughter protested that she needed much cheaper drops. Since here co-pays is almost 100.00, I was met with rude office workers who insisted, she needed these drops and her pharmacy was trying to over price them. When her pharmacist, in the presence of my sister spoke to the head of Dr. Solish office (Bea) they were told my mother had been on these drop and they worked. My mother had been on no drops because we weren't given samples. The office manager new this detail and had kept a log of the numerous times I called and asked for the prescription to be changed to the cheaper drops the pharmacy had recommended. I was told I have been rude, that this was written down!! I am frustrated. The Dr. obviously gets some kind of deal by pushing these expensive drops. He is the only specialist in our valley. Please heed this warning. They are not above lying to keep your business.Never again
