Annie A Barseghian's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Barseghian...where do I begin. She doesn't write everything you talk about so she doesn't remember what you talked about. She insists you come in to talk about something you already talked about 2 weeks prior. You get a scan, and surprise, you need surgery? Guess what, she'll get the report but won't read it unless you call and ask for her to look at it and advise. I had to read the ultrascan report myself and figure out that I needed surgery. She didn't call about results. She didn't refer me to a surgeon--I had to track one down. She didn't explain anything. She didn't even call AFTER I had surgery and all hospital release forms were sent to her office. She also judges me about not exercising enough--a tisk tisk tisk kinda thing. I usually leave her office feeling judged and awful about myself. Her office staff forgets to send needed paperwork to labs, are unprofessional and rude. I am on now on a mad hunt for a new doctor after dealing with her nonsense for 3.5 years. Her office has signs and brochures for Botox and other injectables...REALLY?? Am I at a doctor's office or an esthetician? It's painfully clear that money is her number one patient, not humans. If she reads this, I doubt she'll do any self-reflecting. I hope I'm wrong and she realizes why she's lost yet another 2 patients. My spouse also hated his visits with her.

Dr. Barseghian is a very caring and wonderful family Doctor. I have been a patient of hers for about 10 yrs. and has shown to be the utmost professional.

Do not use this doctor. I selected her, filled out ALL required forms, including my insurance information. My medications were running out, I asked for an emergency refill, and they refused to refill them until I made an appointment. The day before my first appointment they inform me that they do not accept my HMO insurance. Not once in any of my communications with them did they notify me of this policy. This is incompetence and a complete uncaring, unempathetic and callous disregard for a patient’s Heath and well being. Now I am out of medications and will have to try to find a doctor that accepts new patients. I worked in healthcare for 42 years and this treatment is just unconscionable.

Updating after having been a patient of Dr. Barseghian for many years now and my initial assessment has been supported by excellent, patient, empathetic care. My fiancé has had equally good experience with her and has made progress on items that had persisted under the care of her prior GP physician. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Barseghian to anybody I meet who's in need of a new General Practitioner. Shedabest.

I'm a new patient with Dr Barseghian, along with my mother and father. We are all very happy with her as our primary physician. She spends so much time with each of us and you can tell she really cares about her patients. She ordered lab tests for my mom and followed up with her on a video call and answered any questions she had. I myself had a visit to the hospital and she followed up with the hospital retrieved my health records and called me a few days later to clarify everything with me and went over my charts.Doctor B is very patient and also organized. We are so so happy to have had been referred to her. You will be in great care under Doctor Barseghian!!

Dr. Barseghian is great. Personable, knowledgeable, spends the time with you to ensure you and her feel good about where you are and where you're going. Highly recommend.

Excellent doctor. I’ve been seeing her for almost 4 years now and always received quality care. She listens, she cares, and takes her time.

Dr. Barsheghian moved to another location without informing me of her move. I called the Pasadena location and was given two email addresses but not for certain. I have to find another Primary Care Physician after just completing my labs, and having them sent to her at her request. Unbelievable!

Dr. Barseghian has been my family’s primary care physician for about 3 years, and our experience is extremely positive. She’s been very thorough, spent much time and attention. We have a feeling that the doctor really cares about patients. Gives good advice on what to do to achieve healthier lifestyle, and we actually became healthier☺️

Our entire family began as patients of Dr. Barseghian's when she was with Motion Picture in Toluca Lake. We were so sorry to see her leave, but were thrilled when she started her private practice close enough to continue seeing her. As such, we've been with her for more than 10 years now! Awesome, DOES NOT EVEN BEGIN to describe the level of professionalism, care, compassion and thoroughness we've received from her and her entire staff. As our Primary Care Physician, she has gone above and beyond the scope of her obligations to us. When my husband was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and I was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor, we received a greater level of care and information from Dr. Barseghian than we did from the specialists we were seeing...and THAT continues to this day. Dr. Barseghian is TRULY a remarkable human, who also happens to be an AMAZING doctor.
