Dr K saved my life. I had barbaric surgery with an other Dr. I developed internal hernias which no one could diagnose. I had bouts of the worst pain I ever experienced in my life. I went to the dr that did the surgery. He did removed gall bladder. That was not the issue . I continued I went to the emergency on many occasions. Even with the strongest pain meds the pain would not subside. I would pass out. I wake I thought I had died. Finally I visited dr.k. He saw me after hours. I had to wait in his office while he finished his hospital routine. He rapidly told me my problem after I explained. He preformed open surgery and cured me. This was in Delano ca. Later I followed him to Pasadena. He performed revision duodenal switch surgery. Again he changed my life. It was major surgery but 13yrs Later I'm still doing great. There more I recommend my brother to get reviision surgery with Dr.K. while attempting to perform the surgery Dr. K.dicovered tumors in my brother's liver. He did not go through and closed him back up. I think an other surgeon would have just gone through with the surgery. Dr. K is great surgeon and a great human being. My brother just passed away recently. Stil.tanks Dr. K.

Best doctor ever

I have done the sleeve everything went well. Everyone at the office and hospital was very caring and nice.

I love Dr. K. He is one of the most dedicated physicians I have ever seen. He spends as much time with you as you need and never makes you feel rushed. He is understanding, quick to reply to emails and always on time. He is a master at what he does, known as the best in the industry. I can't recommend him any higher. Dr K is an angel!! Where do I begin, I was obese, morbidly obese. I was told as a little boy, I was 'husky' that's the term used back then so you wouldn't hurt the feelings of a really fat kid. Throughout the years, I was the biggest one in the group, and food was always comforting, so it went from bad to worse. Tried every diet known to man, some worked as long as I dieter, but the second I stopped the weight came back more so. Being in a toxic environment didn't help, so as age increased, certain medications were prescribed to keep me from becoming diabetic, lower blood pressure, cholesterol, water retention, you name it. Then I met Dr. K. His calm, obviously caring simple explanation of what, and why I was, what I was made perfect sense. His table side, bedside manner is beyond fantastic. He personally cares from his heart, and it shows. I had spoken with other Dr's who were on my insurance, but as soon as I spoke with Dr K, I knew he was the only Dr for me. I had Kaiser, which meant that I would pay for everything, but boy howdy was that the best investment of my life, literally. Dr k told me where my weight would be after surgery (1/2 of where it was) in all honesty, I was a little surprised, as I hadn't weighed that little since I was 15 years old. My current weight is exactly what he said it would be. Coincidence? Nope, just a caring Dr. who knows what he's doing, truly cares for you, and I believe, he is a blessing from above. Please don't hesitate, for each day after surgery I am truly blessed, I only wish that I had met Dr. K earlier in my life. Oh, and those medications, I haven't seen a single one of them since.
