List of Babak Yaghmai Md's Reviews
Wasn't expecting to enjoy my appt. with Dr Yaghmai but he explained the procedure and the reason it needed to be done and I left feeling perfectly confident in his ability and even more relaxed about the procedure and why I needed it. Great "crew " he has too! Paulette was helpful and efficient as we're the reception staff.
Dr. Yahmai performed surgery for my varicose veins. He removed some veins too close to major nerves in my foot and now, two years later, half of my foot is numb and painful because of his mistake. After the surgery, he told me this was normal pain. I saw a podiatrist and he confirmed my foot is messed up permanently.
Dr. Yaghmai performed surgery for my varicose veins. He told me he would not remove the veins close to my foot because it was dangerous to nearby nerves. After the surgery he told me he was able to remove those veins and subsequently, 2 yrs later, one half of my foot is numb and throbs constantly from the nerve damage. He told me this is normal! my condition cannot be reversed. I would never recommend him.
The staff and Dr Yaghmai we personable, efficient and helpful
4 specialists and 2 procedures failed to fix the AVM in our teenage son’s right leg. Dr Yaghmai was the 5th specialist we saw. He was cautious about doing surgery on a minor. When it was clear surgery was necessary he was patient with answering our questions and was very thorough in his preparation. He personally attended the pre-op ultrasound to assure it was completed exactly as he required. 4 months post surgery and our son has just completed the high school summer basketball season pain free for the first time in 3 years. We look forward to the coming school year with no more ice packs, compression sleeves and braces.
Dr.Y removed a large painful varicose vein by laser. No surprises and it was very successful. Back to work in 2 days. Professional and took time to fully answer all questions. Would recommend.
I wish I never had anything to do with this crook. The surgery was horrible. I was informed by his nurse that my insurance approved the surgery. Was than slapped with a $ 7000 with the reason that my insurance did not pay. My insurance answered that the doctor refused to send in the requested information. He put my out for collection an ruined my credit! the insurance is still ready to pay if the doctor respond to what they need
I am a referring physician to Huntington Hospital. I have to say that Dr Yagmai is the least professional medical professional I have encountered in many years. He refuses to come in after hours and weekends to take care of patients, is incredibly rude to referring physicians and I have had a number of patient complaints about his attitude. He is a big fat zero in my opinion. His partners are all together different and I just wish they would get rid of this d-bag
Today is Friday. My surgery was Tuesday just 3 days ago. So far everything I have to report is good. At the moment I wish I had agreed to have this laser vein removal procedure 2 years ago. I hope to have the same good things to say about it 30 days from today.
Don't go there. Go to the doctor up the street, much better. Surgery was fine but aftercare awful, bad bedside manner. Staff at the desk need to learn some manners, very rude. Don't recommend this doctor for vericose vein procedures.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
