Doranny was amazing help over the phone! Overall CALA is the best place for mental health!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place is awful. For over 6 months my child has been at the top of "the list" for services. No one contacts or follows up. When I called for the 8th time to check for availability I was told that they a lots of openings that were available and no one had contacted me, even though the previous times I was told he was at the top of the list. I wanted to snag a spot but was told to contact at a later date to since we were traveling and now that we have returned they no longer have anything available. I understand mental health is under funded and over worked but to wait over 6 months for a service with no follow through on their end is just ridiculous. Would not recommend!
Unethical practice. My first "appointment" lasted less than 5 minutes as the provider told me that she could not accommodate my schedule and ended the call early for that reason. She told me that because she ended the conversation so early in the appointment, my insurance would not be billed. To my surprise, a week later she emailed me that the practice would be billing my insurance anyway. Literally no service was provided but CALA will still take payment from my insurance and one of my limited appointments despite telling me otherwise.
This is an incredible practice with excellent therapists. Tiffany was terrific when I spoke to and worked with her at the beginning of my therapy. She much background work to facilitate my appointments. My therapist(s) are knowledgeable, insightful, empathic, well trained, and encouraging. They are also "straight-shooters" who tell it like it is in order to help one reflect more deeply on long standing patterns. They have helped me and continue to positively impact my health journey. I'm grateful to have found them.

They talk a lot of the integrity of therapy and commitment but it’s all a guise to keep the money flowing in. They take on kids with severe trauma and PTSD and then drop them for having trouble keeping appointments. Of course a teenager who’s experienced severe physical harm at the hands of adults would have trouble talking to adults. I asked if I (the child’s guardian) could be contacted if it looked like he was going to be late for his Zoom session and they said “No we don’t do that” and sent me some referrals for other therapists. Absolute scam.
I was referred there for my daughter with post concussion syndrome from a car accident. I chose Dr. RASKEY as somatic and cognitive behavior therapy was recommended by her neurologist and pain team. After the 1st session my daughter was agitated so severely for several days days. I told myself this is not how it should be. I erred to a 2nd appointment. My daughter was terribly disturbed afterwards. It was not good. I would be very very careful with this practitioner. I honestly feel that she regressed my daughter unsafely and left her hanging. I would not see this person or recommend her for anyone with ptsd. She will cause the patient to have a nervous breakdown. No GOOD!
It was a bit difficult getting an appointment, but it was worth the work. The services of Dr. Veronica Montes have been great. She’s very knowledgeable and personable. She’s been a big help to me.
I have been to countless therapists throughout my lifetime and I must say that the CALA Psychological Services has been most accommodating with my work schedule and helping meet my needs. The admin staff, Leanna and Tiffany, worked so hard with making sure I can get the help I need with my tight work schedule. At CALA, I experienced everyone as professional, empathetic and wanting to help those in need. I connected with my therapist right away and I've had great insight into my personal problems and I looked forward to seeing her for each and every session. Thank you CALA! I will be referring more of my friends and family to you!
I've struggled through the pandemic with my mental health. Being isolated, I decided to seek therapy. I nervously called CALA and explained my situation. The client coordinator kindly explained the process and said they would check my insurance and get back with me (so easy and efficient). If you don't have insurance they offer a sliding scale! I was paired up with Dr. Lilit and due to covid she offered virtual therapy sessions (no wasted time driving or having to get ready). She is kind, extremely intelligent and provides REAL professional help. My mental health has improved drastically throughout the last year. The best decision I've made for myself was calling and booking an appointment with CALA. Thank you Dr. Lilit! Thank you to all the support staff, as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
