The doctors and staff her are so great. The staff helped us navigate the waters of authorizations and insurance. They were very patient, super helpful, and always friendly. They really did help make this journey as easy as they could.
I recently saw Roger W. Satterthwaite, MD, MPH for the first time after experiencing some testicular pain. At first the office wanted to refer to me to a different Urologist in the office but after I told them a suspicious finding on the testicular ultrasound they made sure I got in with Dr. Satterthwaite. At first they told me my appointment would be three weeks out but I told them I was leaving for the midwest on Saturday and asked if they could waitlist me. So they did, the same day I got a call back saying that one of his patients cancelled on Thursday at 1pm and asked if I wanted the slot and I said yes. I will note I wish that I kept the appointment that was in three weeks because of all the paperwork which was fairly comprehensive, but that being it City of Hope and that they focus on cancer, a doctor does value from a detailed history. I will note I had to wait a bit awhile in the exam room for the doctor but the LVN told me he was reviewing all of my clinical information including the ultrasound I brought in which reassured me he wanted a complete picture. Shortly after she told me that he came in. I will note, in Dr. Satterthwaite's biography he used to serve in the military (in fact he got into medicine at the age of 19 by being a medic for the army) so he can come off as blunt. He was polite and made sure that my anxiety was put at ease. He said that my pain was more neurological than urological stemming from my back, he gave me a order for pelvic floor physical therapy in which I start in December. In all, I trust Dr. Satterthwaite for all of my "male medical issues".
Dr. Warner is probably the best doctor that I have been to. He is very professional, compassionate and kind. Everything that He described during my appointment is correct, He takes the time to listen and gives you different options for your health, for me it is worth the drive (60 miles) to see Dr.Warner in Pasadena. I hope someone from corporate reads this review and can recognize Dr. Warner Thumbs up to Dr. Warner

This place may have lost it's focus. I had an appointment 1 month in advance, filled out numerous forms prior and when I arrived, Edith at the front desk asked me to check a box on yet ANOTHER form proclaiming I wasn't a Mexican. Thought race wasn't supposed to matter in our society anymore! I think they should really focus on HEALTH issues as opposed to what color my skin is and whether I am gay, straight or bi-sexual. Let the doctors just deal with ME and not forms. Just something to consider.
This place is absolutely ridiculous. My son was 10 minutes late for his appointment and they wouldn't take him. Don't waste your time with this inconsiderate medical office! Be willing to wait for a month or longer for an appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
