Great doctor!
Is an Amaizing Doctor
She's really nice and she used to be a good doctor, before the pandemic hit. Since then, she avoids patients. She won't even talk to them on the phone. The only person you'll see is the nurse practitioner, who's really busy. The office doesn't seem to keep copies of lab requests, or frequently loses them. If you need anything done, you usually have to wait for the office to be contacted and rewrite the prescription because they can't find it. And they won't call you with results either. You need to get the results yourself and then make an appointment with the nurse to discuss them, because the doctor won't see you. I seriously doubt she's in the office at all these days. I think it's entirely run by the nurse and support staff. And they're frequently not on the ball. You're better off going to urgent care for anything requiring less than a 2 week wait. Unfortunately, for me, this has resulted in medical complications that could have been avoided.
If you are a new patient, do not waste your time. My initial doctors appointment has been rescheduled two times and we are going on eight months of trying to get in to see her. Each morning of my scheduled appointment, her office calls in the morning and reschedule. And then they tell me we are sorry but she is scheduling for three months out. Completely unreliable and not trustworthy.
By far one of the most unprofessional doctors I've encountered. How do you expect to run a business if you always call out! I wait months for my appointment just to be rescheduled, wait for that appointment day and it was rescheduled again! Beyond furious. Not to mention if I need her to fill something out its weeks before I get it back. I call the office I get placed on hold for over 5 minutes every single time. The new staff is trash. There was a time she had a wonderful staff that always tried to help. Wendy was wonderful and was there for a long time after she left other girls left and office just went to crap. This new staff is rude, seems like they don't care. SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Dont waste your time with this so called doctor!!! If I can give negative zero stars I would!
Called to make a first appointment. On hold for 5 minutes. Bye-eee!
She use to be my PCD, so disappointed. When we first became her patients 2 years ago she had a 4.6 rating, she’s down to 3.8, I can see why. She is super sweet in person but as a doctor her follow up and search approach is bad, really bad. My partner stayed with her after I left her practice, but he’s leaving her practice today after he went in for this cough that wouldn’t go away, and instead of doing the basic blood work to rule certain things out first, she prescribed him antibiotics!!! That’s is the laziest approach any doctor can ever take, what if my partner DID end up having an infection later on, he would not be able to take those antibiotics bc she prescribed over something that it was not! To me that was the breaking point.
Changing office, to hard to get appt to see physician never avail. I don't want to see NP, office chaotic . No ty. Many other MD avail
NEED TO UP DATE THE PHONE NUMBER, AND ADD THE OFFICE NUMBER. ASAP
The staff never answers the phone. They keep putting you on hold 30 minutes at a time and then they bill your insurance for care management services clinical staff time. Never providing help. Dr. Alvarado, whom you rarely get an opportunity to see, is very helpful and nice. So is her Nurse Practioner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
