List of Evangelia K. Kirimis's Reviews
Dr. Kirimis was cold, did not pay attention to detail and gave me "treatments" that made me feel way worse. I never even write these reviews but had to share how awful of an experience I had. A friend who went to her also had the same experience. She takes your money and does not care about your progress. Avoid at all costs
When my partner reacted poorly to the chemotherapy, and requested a call from the doctor, not once did she pick up the phone and call. The office also turned him away when gravely ill for being 4 minutes late and then called the next day for payment. The practice has unreasonable expectations for sick patients, but apparently patients should not have any.
My partner has been under the care of Dr. Kirimis for a little more than 3 months, and has suffered so greatly from side-effects from his oral chemotherapy that he was forced to discontinue it. Today, he arrived 4 minutes late to his appointment and was turned away by the receptionists who said, "Dr. Kirimis doesn't accept anyone who is more than 1 (!) minute late. You will have to reschedule." Really? I certainly understand the need to maintain timely scheduling, but: a) at no time during any of our visits were we informed about this harshly rigid policy, and; b) it was obvious from appearance alone that my partner is extremely ill and should have been shown a modicum of compassion. Yet he was not. He will not be rescheduling and has already requested referrals to another practice with a higher standard of patient care.
My partner had been under the care of Dr. Kirimis for a little more than 3 months. He is one of those patients who has experienced many, and serious, side effects from oral chemotherapy that has affected his mental and emotional health, as well as his physical. Today, he had a follow-up appointment, two weeks after having to discontinue chemotherapy due to his body's extreme intolerance to it. He arrived four (as in 4) minutes late to his appointment and was turned away by the receptionists who said, "Dr. Kirimis doesn't accept anyone who is more than one (1!) minute late. You will have to reschedule." Really? While I certainly understand the need to maintain timely scheduling: a) at no time during any of our visits were we informed about this harsh and rigid policy, and; b) it was obvious from appearance alone that my partner was extremely ill and should have been shown a modicum of compassion. Yet it was like a brick wall at that front desk. This is not a bikini-waxing salon that needs to churn out 4-6 appointments an hour to maintain profitability. This is a specialty physicians' group that is supposed to be offering a high level of care to patients in dire need of their expertise—and they bill accordingly. The callousness was shocking. If the employees at the front desk had cared enough to have taken a closer look, they would have noticed that it likely took this man, who was relatively robust several months ago, more than 10 minutes to shuffle from the parking structure to the office. The poor guy looks like he's aged 20 years in 3 months—largely caused by the treatment he's received from this office. Yet, nothing. Nobody cared. There was no offer to check with the doctor to see if she could still see him, just a "move along" attitude and dismissal. They literally turned their backs to him. It's obvious that the receptionists were just enforcing a practice-wide policy, but what kind of caregiver(s) implements this type of unyielding rule when dealing with a populace of gravely ill patients? To his credit, when he was turned away, my partner declined to reschedule and stated that he will find another oncologist. I find that to be an excellent choice as this place did not do right by him. We were told that Dr. Kirimis is a skilled oncologist, but the patient care offered by her practice is abysmal. Would not recommend.
My mom is seeing Dr. Kirimis for a year now and we are very pleased with her care. We never feel rushed, she is precise and detail oriented with her explanation of the condition and plan of care. She is very professional, kind and caring. It's not easy to find a doctor that we trust and like, but Dr. Kirimis has definitely scored high in all of our expectations. When my mom needed urgent last minute appointment, she was able to see Dr. Kirimis within 48hr to get necessary surgical clearance for her surgery. We are grateful to Dr. Kirimis for her care.
Sharp, calm, reassuring and brilliant!
After driving 90 mins to see Dr Kirimis, her staff informed me that she wouldn't see me because i as 7 mins late. Inhuman and no options presented. Will find another doctor - she is great, but rules more important than patients, even in this crazy time.
One of the most professional and organized physicians I have ever seen. Totally trust her. Well run office.
Dr. K is perhaps the most caring, knowledgeable and respectful doctor I have ever met. I'm very grateful for her expertise, her kindness and her willingness to go above and beyond with my insurance company to get the approvals needed for my treatment. She is a gem.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
