Dr. Jim has taken care of my daughters and me for years. He is compassionate, meticulous and highly competent. He was the only surgeon I trusted to do my hysterectomy last year. Thank you Dr. Jim!

As an RN, we do our research and choose the best doctors for our own care and Dr. Macer ranks at the top of my list. His bedside manner and expertise are incomparable. He also happened to deliver my angel baby safe and sound. I've had a lot of issues trying to keep my pregnancies going and Dr. Macer has gone above and beyond to make sure I can get through my pregnancy despite all the complications. Now I have a healthy 8 month old and I couldn't be more thankful. Highly recommended if you're looking for a doctor who is compassionate, skilled, and kind. I wish I could give Dr Macer 10 stars.

My husband and I were ready to start a family so through recommendations of friends, I called the office to make an appointment for a check up and discuss family planning. I requested for Dr James Macer or Dr Matsuda and Dr Macer was available to assist me. He made me feel comfortable, truly the sweetest Dr, and answered all my concerns. When you are planning to deliver your baby, I truly believe you need to be able to connect with someone that you trust. Dr Macer made me feel at ease and reassured me every appt. When I was in labor, Dr Isiaka was on call but Dr Macer still ended up coming in to deliver my baby! He came to check on me every day I was in the hospital and made sure I was good to go home. After going home, I had some issues before my 6 week postpartum appt, so I called the office and Dr Matsuda was covering. He took care of my problem in the simplest, most convenient way possible. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for trustworthy providers who care for their patients! All the staff are helpful and friendly. There is parking for the medical plaza but you have to pay.

I absolutely adore Dr. Macer! My doctor was out of town the weekend I was induced due to a business trip. After 30+ hours of being in labor I was fully dilated, however we had a problem with the doctor that was in charge that night that we decided we didn't want him to deliver our child. The only alternative we had was to get Dr. Macer in to deliver my child. It was 2 am and sure enough Dr. Macer agreed to come in. Upon his arrival he introduced himself and was very professional and very polite. He apologized for what had happened with the previous doctor and explained what the protocol would be now that I was fully dilated. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. After pushing for what felt like an eternity (3 hours) he came in and said I had to deliver via cesarean. At that point I was willing to do anything so there I go in the gerni bed to the surgery room. He alongside Dr. Sirott performed my cesarean. Post surgery Dr. Macer came in a few times to check on me and made sure I was doing okay. Bottom line is he is an incredible doctor. If you are on the hunt for a OB/GYN look no further. Thank you Dr. Macer for everything! My baby and I are doing wonderful!

Best Ob/Gyn in Pasadena and maybe So Cal. I highly recommend him. Fantastic physician with the best bedside manner ever. Takes care of my mother, aunt, friends and me. No better doc around!

Excellent doctor. Definitely get what you pay for. Well worth the investment for the patient who wants the best.

When I knew I was pregnant, I was searching for woman doctor but had hard time finding someone who is available and caring. I went to see Dr. Macer's, based on somebody recommendation, and I was very nervous and concerned. From first visit I felt very comfortable with his personality and bedside manner. He is an amazing, trustworthy and knowledgeable physician. He took care of me during the pregnancy and he did his efforts to be available at time of delivery. I felt very comfortable, relaxed and safe with his care. I had very successful and uneventful pregnancy, thanks to him. He was always available, caring and answered all my questions. He has outstanding bed side manner. I and my husband are both doctors and we know how to judge physicians pretty well. We found him to be the best of the best and we were lucky to have him. If I am pregnant again, I will go to him with no hesitation.

I drive 1 hour and fifteen minutes to see this doctor. Why? He saaved my life and that of my 8 week premature daughter.He is the most caring, concerned,up to date,compassionate doctor I have ever met,and if I had to drive 5 hours I would.He is simply the BEST,and so are the other doctors in his office. Love them and their staff

Dr Macer is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever met. His demeanor is warm and friendly. He has always treated me with respect and has never rushed through the appointment. Explains everything until he is certain that I understand what he is saying to me. The entire office staff are absolutely wonderful and show the same level of caring as Dr Macer.

Professionally and personally, Dr. Macer is the best physician I've ever known. He inspires such confidence!
