I couldn’t be more happy with Dr Irvine and his staff at Doheny Eye Center. He was recommended to me by someone else going through severe eye problems, but I didn’t expect to be able to get into see him since every other doctor was telling me that they didn’t have any appointments open for weeks. Dr. Irvine understood the urgency and asked me to come see him the same day. He was able to diagnose me with a very severe parasitic infection that had been misdiagnosed by multiple doctors before him and he continued to treat me for 10 months. The only reason I don’t see him any longer is because my eye condition caused me to lose my job and I had to move out of state to where my family is, but to this day doctor Irvine still lets me call him for advice if I’m struggling with my doctors out here. There’s no way to express my gratitude for the treatment and care that I received.

Dr. Irvine and his staff helped me manage severe eye problems that were impacting all aspects of my life. He told me to call him whenever problems peaked, fit me into his busy schedule that same day, and allowed me to return to a productive life right away. I couldn't thank him more.

I had a negative reaction to Lasik surgery from another doctor. I was referred to Dr. Irvine. He is nice, but really didn't seem to know what to do. Did not do any type of real treatment. His main advice was to keep my eyes closed so they could heal on their own. In the meantime I was becoming more and more blind. I went to a new corneal specialist who actually had a real treatment plan. Within 2 weeks I had partial vision restored. Irvine was content to let me continue to be blind, all the while billing my insurance and requiring that I waste my time with him 2 days each week.
