Reyneiro Castro's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Castro is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He has been monitoring my immunocompromise for several years now. He is responsive to his patients and their needs, even on a holiday. I have read some of the reviews here and it's hard to see the bad ones when I have had such a great experience with him and his staff. I personally would recommend him based on my experience and I will continue to be his patient as long as possible.

Dr. Castro, is very knowledgeable. Cares for his patients and their concerns.

The worst service ever from Dr. Reyneiro Castro. I took my kid there to take care of allergy issues, ended up getting some medications. Great. The next day I called because I had a question regarding the prescribed medication, and they NEVER called me back. After that I called two more times and left voice mails and again, they simply never called me back. Is like the two receptionists ladies that where there just disappeared or something. Let's pretend that their phone lines died that day, well it has been a few weeks since that happened and till this day they never called me either way. This is just terrible and completely unprofessional and to be honest there is no excuse for this kind of service so I don't recommend going there.UPDATE: It is February 2022 and FYI, no one from this office ever called me back from the messages I left back in 2021. No one, nor the doctor has called to see how my child is doing. Nothing, zippo. I definitely do not recommend anyone to take their child to this doctor.

Referred here by my ENT to get allergy test. This office is in-network for my healthcare provider and my medical group authorized my consultation visit. I show up at office and receptionist tells me that they didn't realize I had L.A. Care; they had recently opted out of accepting L.A. Care plans. (Apparently the provider network has yet to reflect this change.) I overhear a manager stating that treating patients with my plan is "not cost-effective." They offer to honor my consultation authorization but would charge me cash for an allergy test. I walked out. Complete waste of my time. This is what is wrong with the American medical industry and doctors. They just want to get rich off of us. It's all about them Gs!

I found Dr. Castro to be friendly and a decent doctor, but his office and staff leave a lot to be desired. If you need prescriptions refilled, good luck getting them to respond. So many better run offices in the area. When you have allergies and or asthma, you need a responsive office. This is not one I'd recommend.

I'm writing for my family member who sees Dr Castro. He is wonderful and takes the time to answer your questions. Also we needed help with labs and Amanda admin manager was so amazing and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us. She is the best at patient service.

Dr. Castro is a very knowledgeable and patient doctor. My kids and I have seen Dr. Castro and we never feel rushed and he really listens. He has been a wonderful doctor and is always available to his patients. Additionally, he has a very nice office staff and the office is easily accessible!

Really happy with Dr. Castro and his Pasadena office. My daughter's pediatrician requested a referral to see Dr. Castro and his office called me to schedule when they received the authorization even before I got a chance to receive my copy from the insurance in the mail. Dr. Castro was amazing! He's very knowledgeable and explains everything very thoroughly. During our consultation, he took his time and answered all of my questions, but made it a point to explain it to his real patient; my 10 year old daughter. After leaving, I forgot to request a medical note for her school and emailed his office with a copy of the form. They completed and returned it in less than 24 hours!! I was so thankful and impressed, as I work in the medical field myself and know a request like this can take several business days. I highly recommend Dr. Castro and his team.
