After a litany of phone and Zoom appointments, not to mention endless forms, I show up for my first treatment and am hit with MORE forms that could have been taken care of when I wasn't paying for parking. Time wasted. My first appointment with Dr. Debnath wasn't great. He hurried through what were clearly requirements. Even when I reported a past bad experience, he begrudgingly said, "I'm sorry that happened to you". While I wasn't looking for sympathy, I would hope that a psychiatrist would have a bit of empathy. I have a tight schedule. I'm sure Dr. Debnath does too. He called me early for a phone appointment and I was on a call. I finished my call and called him back at our scheduled appointment time. He was not available, so I left a message. I hoped that he would call back so that we could speak, or at least apologize. When I went to the office, I was admonished that I had missed my appointment. This by the same staff member who disregarded my reported side effects. When I call my clients early and they are not available, I wait. Or call back. Or even give them a few minutes if they're running late. Not punish them because they weren't available at my convenience. If your time isn't valuable and you're looking for a deadpan, clinical experience, this is the guy for you.

A SHOUT OUT to my fave TMS technicians...Hanna and Jaime! My experience there was exceptional thanks to the both of you. They made me laugh and completely at ease with the entire treatment process. Hanna was compassionate and a great listener. Thank you for making this treatment enjoyable. I missed you guys!
SoCal TMS offers an amazing treatment for depression and anxiety. It lifted the deep depression I was trapped in. The staff in the Pasadena office are incredible. Stephanie guided and supported me throughout. I appreciate the techs and nurses who treated me daily, especially Hanna and Nidia. TMS is amazing. I am forever grateful to SoCal TMS and the staff in the Pasadena office. I recommend this treatment wholeheartedly.

I was injured permanently by Dr Hutton's TMS . Dr Hutton also gaslighted me and lied about several things. I cannot leave a long review again because they are removing my reviews.
I cannot say enough good things. I have been feeling SO much better since my full course of treatment. The techs with the exception of one were on the ball and truly professional. I was actually sad when treatment ended. The tapping is really bizarre and hard to adjust to at first but the techs were always watching and quick to make adjustments if I was uncomfortable. Dr. Hutton was great. He listened intently and had suggestions. Stephanie his 2nd in command was fantastic. She treated me with full attention even though she was days away from giving birth. Special shoutouts to Anna, Hanna, Jaime and Charletta. Thank you guys.
This place lacks integrity . They are money hungry and could care less if you get better . They just want to keep you dependent on meds so they can benefit from your depression . They are snakes
Love the team at SoCal TMS! I can not say enough about Dr. Schneider and the technicians at SoCal TMS! My friend just finished treatment and they took care of EVERYTHING for her! They were kind, so skilled, and I would not want family or friends to go to any other TMS center. Thank you So Cal TMS! You are amazing!
I never met Dr. Hutton. Instead, I worked with Dr. Schneider. I found him pleasant overall, but I did not appreciate the way I was treated. I felt disrespected and uninvolved in my own care. To begin with, I responded very rapidly to treatment, to the point where it may have been worrisome to those treating me. So, after my first two sessions during my first week, I was asked to skip a session in order to come down a bit. Initially, we began by utilizing TMS on the left and right side since I have high anxiety, and I was informed that right-sided treatment can help counteractive TMS's effect on anxiety. But after I responded strongly I was only receiving treatment on the right side (instead of the usual left sided treatment). There was a tech whom I wasn't particularly fond of, largely because I felt judged whenever we spoke. When I returned for my fourth treatment after skipping the third, she commented on how "crazy" it was that I responded the way I did, which did not feel like the type of language one would use towards someone struggling with their mental health. Another time she came in and asked me to rate my irritability on a scale of 1-10. I never said I was irritable--that was a projection. I just didn't like her. I appreciated the other techs, though. The last straw for me was when I informed a tech that I was still experiencing anxiety even though we were doing treatments on the right side, which was meant to lower anxiety. I informed her that it could be cycle related since my period had just started, and usually I have high anxiety leading up to my period until 24 hrs after it starts. I wanted to be transparent. Later that day, I receive a text saying that Dr. Schneider is canceling my appt on Friday due to my anxiety. I spoke with my therapist and my partner about my concerns since it didn't feel good to have an appointment canceled without consulting me first, especially since they emphasized the importance of me coming 5x/week. Plus all the research I read online insisted that 5x/week is standard. So, I responded with a respectful text explaining my concerns and saying that I want to come in to speak with someone during my scheduled appointment. If during that time my anxiety was still high/we want to skip after talking, fine. But I wasn't comfortable with this decision being made on my behalf without consulting me. Around 10 pm I received a cold reply that we are rescheduling until Monday. The following day, I spoke with my therapist and partner about this--we agreed that it was inappropriate/disrespectful to make decisions regarding my treatment without consulting me, especially via text instead of calling. My field of work requires me to work with patients--I'm not even doing anything medical, yet I would never change a patient's POC without speaking with them. It was amazing to me that this psychiatrist could neither meet with me nor call when I expressed concerns regarding my care. So, I transferred to a new center. During that time, I skipped 5 appointments while going through insurance verification because I did not trust this place with my mental health. I needed a place that felt healing and supporting, and I didn't get that here. During this time, no one reached out to me. Can you imagine being treated at a facility for severe depression when you first entered, only to be treated so dismissively during the process? They didn't even concern themselves with me not coming in after missing so many treatments until they realized I was transferring to another facility. They didn't even ask if I wanted to speak with the psychiatrist regarding my initial concerns or regarding missed appointments until I asked them to cancel insurance authorization--then, the psych was available to speak with me. I requested my medical records in order to send them to the new psychiatrist. My medical records detailed concerns that I may have underlying bipolar disorder and that I should see someone regularly. It also described me as hypersexual. I would not say that I've been hypersexual, and neither would my therapist nor partner. After having low libido while being depressed, I was excited to feel sexual energy again. At no point did anyone communicate their concern to me, yet it was written in my medical records. Furthermore, I've been seeing my therapist 2x/week and my integrative physician weekly as they've all been concerned/involved in my care while I was depressed. They also requested that I sign release forms so that they could communicate with the TMS center. Given that SoCal TMS was aware that there were other professionals supporting me, it seems logical to ask me to sign a release so that they could communicate with my therapist/physician, both of whom have known me longer/see me more regularly, if there were concerns about my mood. But they didn't. They made assumptions without communicating with me or consulting other licensed professionals who are supporting me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
