My experience with Dr. Sadda was like the dream doctor experience that everyone wishes for but almost no one gets.  I discovered something wrong with my left eye, which I believed could be either macular degeneration and/or a detached retina.  I was anxious to see someone immediately, and searching for the best possible doctor for those conditions online, I found Dr. Sadda.  I called that morning and was given an appointment for that afternoon.Despite being a last-minute patient, I was kept waiting barely at all when I got there, and was first seen by a very kind and helpful nurse named Mary, who gave me the first of what turned out to be more than 3 hours of tests.  As soon as she did the preliminary tests, I was taken to Dr. Sadda, who could not have been more kind, solicitous, and professional.  He knew exactly what tests to administer and didn't skimp on the shortening, making sure he covered all bases to get to the bottom of what exactly was causing my blurry vision.  After hours of tests, he said I had a growth in my eye which was causing liquid to pool and I needed to see a specialist that he recommended at Jules Stein, Dr. Tara McCannel.  I told him I already had an appointment scheduled at Jules Stein with another doctor, but very firmly though politely he said, no I had to see no one but Dr McCannel, and that he'd get me an appointment with her within the next 2 weeks.  He actually got me one with her that following Tues., less than a week after I saw him.Although I was there for hours, almost 100% of the time was doing tests of various kinds and talking to Dr. Sadda, Mary, and other incredibly helpful people who administered more of the tests.  I felt so well taken care of and in such good hands.  I only wished I could have continued my care with Dr. Sadda, but as it turned out, Dr. McCannel was an ocular oncologist, and I'm sure Dr. Sadda suspected, though didn't want to scare me, that what I had might well be ocular melanoma.  Sure enough, that's what it turned out to be.  He sent me to Dr. McCannel because she is the top specialist in ocular melanoma in the LA area, and he wanted to assure that I was in the best possible hands.  I am forever grateful to him, to Mary who was the one who took the call about me from the front desk and insisted I come in that day, to Chase at the front desk, and everyone else in that office who was so dedicated, professional, and kind.  They were my entry into the world of cancer, and although that's a door no one ever wants to open, I wish everyone who had to deal with something so difficult had someone like Dr. Sadda to help them navigate the journey.  I'm forever grateful, and for anyone looking for an ophthalmologist, I will sing Dr. Sadda's praises to the heavens.  You simply can't find a better one.
