I had a bad experience trying to get a prescription filled with Dr. Miller. Transitioning to a new primary care physician, I visited Dr. Miller last year. At the time of our visit, I informed the doctor that I experience migraine headaches, and he asked if I needed a prescription filled. I told him I didn't at that time. Now, since my supply of the medication is running low, I called the doctor's office to obtain a prescription. I was told that I need to have an appointment with the doctor to get the prescription filled. Why would I need to pay for another appointment to say, "I experience migraine headaches, can I have a prescription," to which the doctor would say yes and write out the prescription? He already offered the prescription previously, so why would i need to meet again to repeat. Ridiculous. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Miller is one of the most caring physicians I have ever met in my life. I've been his patient for over a decade and couldn't be any happier.

Do not let them transfer you to another doctor in the same office. Their staff and doctors are really hit or miss. Dr. Miller's assistant is on top of things. I was transferred to Dr. Mo, and waited for a referral for > 2 weeks. The person simply forgot to put in the request in the system. Inexperienced doctor and incompetent assistant.

Not available to see the patients usually early than a two-three months from appointments request, Appointments are moved frequently. Seems that Dr. Miller is busy with another hospitals obligations. My recommendation is to inform the patients in advance that the working time is dramatically reduced so the patients have time to find another physician or work with the patients to transition to another physicians.

The best internist is Pasadena, in my opinion. A smart, kind and thoughtful doctor.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Miller and I liked him a lot. The truth is, 99% of the doctors out there are qualified in terms of education and training, so for me, it's about how well your doctor listens, communicates, and diagnoses. Dr. Miller spent a generous amount of time with me, asked smart questions, invited me to ask him about any health concerns I had, and didn't seem too quick to prescribe medications or procedures - which pretty much checks off all the positive boxes for me.
