List of Ucla Health Pasadena Pediatrics's Reviews
Dr. Cambou has taken care of both my kids since they were small and we love her! She is great with kids, patient and understanding. It is wonderful to be part of UCLA as well, because you can always get through to an advice nurse, which is invaluable at 5:30am when I needed to know if I should take my son to the ER or not.
I know a herbalist that I can recommend, he has the best natural herbs to treat and cure all kinds of diseases and viruses, he is special for curing HSV, CANCER, HPV, HIV, Diabetes, COPD, ALS, Penis enlargement, etc. with herbs that you can contact. him now on whatsapp +2348155665915 you can also reach him on email drthomasherbalremedies@gmail.com you can contact him once again i really appreciate doctor thomas
My husband and I love Dr. Cambou! I'm an anxious first time parent and dr. Cambou is so patient and caring: she lets me ask so many questions and always is thoughtful and never makes me feel rushed. We have been struck by how gracefully she incorporates caution when it comes to our baby's health and also calm assurance, we always feel that she is conscientiously looking out for our daughter's wellbeing but never makes us feel panicked. Some reviews mention frustration with staff at Pasadena Pediatrics but our experience has been all positive. We have had some urgent issues that we have gotten help with over the phone and Dr. Cambou and her staff are very responsive with messaging back about urgent and non-urgent questions. We are very grateful to Dr. Cambou and her team!
Dr. Schneider is truly awesome. He is kind, caring, patient, incredibly knowledgeable and a real magician with babies! From our first appointment I could tell how important it was to him to provide a high level of care, he is completely invested in the health and well being of not only his little patients but their parents! He takes the time to share an abundance of information. Ms. Watson our babies nurse was also very helpful and nice to us since day 1 so kudos! Ps. The clinic staffs are top notch! Great experience at this clinic.
HORRIBLE ADMIN STAFF. Non-caring, cancel on you, and if you are a little late make you feel horrible and just turn you away. We went for an annual appointment and were a little late and turned us away saying they would call us to reschedule, we'll see if they do. LOVE DR. Self so glad she is leaving and starting her own practice hope we can get in as one of her patients. Really really want to leave UCLA !!!
I love Dr. Cambou, super responsive and sweet. Her staff is also wonderful, great with my toddler. Only downside to the location is parking is paid parking only.
Upon arrival at the office, we were asked to wait in line to sign in. After 10mins of waiting in the standing line, we got to the front and were told our appointment is now canceled because we are now 2mins past our appointment time. Even after speaking with the senior staff, we were sent home. They also left our son's immunization record a mess. Shots I know he received were missing on his record. Since there is no proof of the vaccines, my son had to get re-shots, a gut wrenching decision we had to make as parents because of their clerical error. They also gave me a huge run around and loads of phone calls just to get our records pulled for our switch. None ever came. I ended up going into the office myself, waited in the office until they provided copies. It took a lot for me to be composed, cordial, polite and put on pleasant smile that day, which I knew were what I needed to do to move on. Please, save yourself from the sanity. The administration overshadowed all the good of the doctors do. For that, I'm truly truly sorry.
Pathetic customer service, it's insulting. My three children went to Rose City Pediatrics, specifically with Dr. Powell for years and we loved it. We felt supported, and cared for. UCLA has taken over and it's become an absolute nightmare. You're no longer treated as a patient, you're simply a customer that they'll ignore for hours, days, or weeks. You cannot ever speak with the direct office, and you'll never get in touch with a doctor. We're going to move on to the place downstairs. If you are looking for a place to go with your newborn, don't come here. Oh, and Kim is just terrible.
The office manager supervising the front desk staff is very rude and unprofessional. Ucla initially gave me incorrect instructions on how to get urgent medical records for my daughter by sending me in person to a facility in Santa Monica. As it turns out the records had to be requested at the Pasadena office . When I went back to Pasadena office I politely asked for a brief note indicating that I had requested the records. The woman in the glass office never came out to address my question and just had the woman behind the counter tell me the answer was NO. Dmv and other governmental agencies get a bad rap and sometimes it is deserved, sometimes it is not. This time the ucla healthcare bureaucracy let me down.
My child is experiencing some symptoms & shes not doing well. I called for the on call nurse & so far all i talk to is UCLA customer service who take your info down & then you have to wait 2 hrs for a nurse to call you back. Its been 3 hrs now & noone called back so i called again & they said theres no info of the call in the system & that if i want a call back, it is now 4 hours to talk to a nurse. What kind of pediatric office is this. The 1 star is for UCLA health system & how they go about doing appts, schedule for a call. Sooooo disappointed right now & not sure what to do with our child. Should we wait for 4 hrs for a nurse to call back or go to the hospital

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
