Dr. Rao listens to me, is quick to do an ECHOCARDIOGRAM when needed, EKG answers questions, uses my input (like if I do or don’t want a certain test done). She is gracious and likable and has always steered me in the right direction. We discuss meds. She is a GEM!

Dr. Rao spoke to me like I was a child that wasn't understanding what she was saying. You will not be heard and will not be able to ask questions. Her passive-aggressive demeanor is unprofessional and intimidating. I didn't find my treatment/appointments with her helpful at all. She was not successful in managing and controlling my diagnosis. She provided me with prescriptions and told me that she didn't need to see me for a few years. She asked me if I wanted my medication increased and when I asked for her advice, she said that she was leaving it up to me. I'm not the type of person that writes negative reviews; however, I found the other reviews helpful and used them to validate how she made me feel. I hope that this is helpful to someone else. I will definitely not be going back to see her. She has poor bed side manners, is very dismissive and arrogant.

Dr Rao, no doubt, is the most arrogant doctor I have ever met. Explains nothing nor gives you an opportunity to ask even 1 question.

Saw me immediately (before scheduled time). Very open and friendly. Was very good about calming my anxiety about aneurysm. Scheduled appropriate follow up tests in timely manner. Did not (yet) recommend prescriptions.

Immediately wanted to place me on a statin and do an angiogram despite the fact I lost 25 pounds between visit with regular doctor and her. Did not even ask me to have cholesterol rechecked. Did not take her advice and I have had no problems. Won't see her again
