Several months ago I consulted with Dr. Wei-Chung Chen regarding a spot on my pancreas discovered by way of a Cat Scan. The doctor reviewed my tests and gave me my options. I elected to have an endoscopy in order to obtain a biopsy. The procedure went perfectly and the doctor spent all the time I needed in explaining the results. I found him highly professional. I also treated with another doctor in his group for something else and I give them my highest rating knowing that I was in good hands. We are fortunate to have these excellent physicians at our disposal.

I was referred to Dr. Chen by my OB/GYN for a colonoscopy due to a suspected GI bleeding. My encounter with Dr. Chen and his staff exceeded my expectations. I am a registered nurse, and I’m well informed about routine procedures and experienced when it comes to what safe and exceptional patient care is. Starting with the nurse who checked me in for my procedure as well the receptionist. Very friendly, thorough, and explained the process of what is to be expected when I’m called in by the nurse for my procedure. I wish I could remember names, but my recovery nurse was so personable and sweet. The surgical tech was also very nice. Given how many patients I can imagine come in for GI procedures everyday, Dr. Chen and his staff are very personable, and really make you feel comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Chen has a very kind bedside manner. He never seemed rushed during my appointments and reviews everything in detail. Having a colonoscopy is probably one of the least pleasant things I can imagine however, Dr. Chen and his staff at Insite make it as comfortable as possible.

Dr. Chen listened thoroughly to my issues and recommended a protocol to follow which took care of those issues immediately. Then, when, I had an appointment with him in person he was equally attentive and provided me with excellent care. I highly recommend Dr. Chen to anyone who needs gastro-intestinal care.

Dr Chen has helped me to manage my life long GI issues in a way NO other doctor has done for me in my many years of searching. He listened acutely to my story and symptoms and actually found something relatively quickly to help me long term. It’s been wonderful to feel like my body is functioning properly again.
