Disgusting. Closed on black Friday? During a pandemic? Waiting for my test results and desperate to find out. Called and they are closed. Says they are open till noon, but they are not. Nevada County must have THE WORST health care of all. And don't even think about going to hospital. Take your life in your hands. And yes, I have lived here for 37 years and it has always been like this.

Have had 3 doctors through them now. Thr first 2 were good with Dr Lucas being amazing. But she left and this Dr I have now leaves alot to be desired. Very dismissive and always rushes through and after this last time I am gonna reqest a new doctor. When your wave off a concern about mixing 2 meds that souldnt me mixed at high doses that could kill me without even taking a few miniutes to look into it when I have already talked to others who said it was dangerous I think its time to ask for a new doctor. First time in my life I have had a doctor be unproesssional. Left that appoiment very angry and wishing I had my last doctor before this one.

they took my call very fast and they made my app to work with me. i needed braces a tooth pulled bc the adult grew on top of it...they did amazing

They got me an appointment with a doc I have seen before, at short notice. They went out of their way to work around my own lack of organization and lack of insurance.

Thank-you for seeing me when I was having stroke symptoms. I was not able to be seen for a follow up appointment since I lost medi-cal, However, initially I was sent to the hospital--where I can find out what to do next. Primary care physicians are really important. I will go back to the hospital if my symptoms worsen. You're a great clinic! Thank you 🌿

So grateful to have Western Sierra Medical Clinic as our primary care center. Both my husband and I see Dr. Lucas Ross, who is wonderful. I love their one-stop approach to care. I was able to see Danielle the Nutritionist and have already made changes to my diet to improve my health. It is great to be able to go to one location for so many excellent services. THANK-YOU!

There was once a time this was the best Clinic in Grass Valley when they were located on Whispering Pines. I never waited longer than 10 minutes for an appointment once I got there and I was treated with great respect by the staff and the doctor I had. I ALWAYS arrive for my appt on time and now I always have , on average, a 40 minute wait to be seen. When my dr left suddenly and unexpectedly I was bounced around for months, unable to build a relationship, until I finally hooked up with the person I'm seeing now. I am a paraplegic, and an elder and it's very important to me to have a relationship with my healthcare provider. A person should not have to call for several days and leave six or seven messages about a medication problem either. That is a big red flag. I would not recommend WSMC to anyone at this point, this protocol of not getting back to a patient's phone calls has happened to me several times and to lots of ppl I know ! I'm just about ready to start looking for somewhere else to go. I come in once a month to get my prescriptions refilled (my insurance is billed abt $200 for this) I talk to my health care professional for a few minutes & leave. (I really like T.N) I was confident enough that she "knew" me and wanted to take care of me & my situation as I was led to believe from the phone bank. Believe me, you will NOT get a call back in a timely manner. ..it should not take five or six days to get a prescription okayed when you come in every month for years. I understand Sabrina isn't my nurse-practitioner's M.A. anymore, which really upsets me becauce i could always depend on her. Between her & T.N I had a great team. I know several people that have left Western Sierra because of this exact same situation that I'm in, not getting phone calls returned and not being able to get a timely follow-up visit when situations exist. Bigger bldg doesn't mean better care and services. Read the blogs, or Nevada County Rants 2.0 on FB! Or, sit in the wait area and hear all the angry ppl who feel jacked around. Not funny!
