List of Kindred Hospital Riverside's Reviews
Kindred Hospital restored my faith back into hospitals. First foremost it was not just nursing but also Administrative staff as well were great. My husband had severe respiratory issues and I was afraid, but God touched that staff and the Nursing staff responded they relieved me of those moments of anxiety and fear. At the beginning of my husband’s admission I called every day and the Nursing staff never got tired of me and educated me on the goals my husband needed to reach. They shaved him, and he looked nice, they had humor and genuine kindness. My experience with them was more than good. The Respiratory Team is a large part of that hospital and they to educated me. I was at first scared but not anymore, though my husband is still there I am hopeful that he meets the goals
I highly recommend kinderd hospital they are very helpful and the physical therapy is absolutely great .Everone is very caring and hepful
The service is really good here at kindred hospital the nurses were very nice kind and respectful services good got good care and I rated a four star thank you
I was admitted to Kindred Hospital on December 5th 2021. During my time at kindred I was continuously monitored and taken care of by the wonderful nursing staff. They were very knowledgeable and friendly in taking care of their patients. You can trust that they will do the right thing. They were always encouraging and they helped me through a rough trial in my life and I thank them all very much.
Our sister Joanne has been at Kindred Hospital Riverside for over 6 months now and the family is greatly appreciated for all her care at this facility. The staff is wonderful and attentive to all our needs We are so happy that our sister is so well taken care of. Thank you once again, on behalf of the Williams family.
I thought I was in RCC mental health facility but turns out I was at Kindred. RitA is THE BEST SO NICE AND REALLY CARES!!!!@ Everyone was super nice! I couldnt talk and they gave me a pen and paper to help me to communicate with them. They were very patient with me even when I got frustrated they told me everything will be okay. Everyone was very encouraging and I would recommend this hospital.
My care was very good at this hospital. The nursing staff was great and so was the kitchen. The culinary staff were patient with me picking the menu and the CNAs were very hard working! I would recommend this hospital to others.
Please please consider another facility. My husband was a post ECMO patient and transferred here and wasted 5 weeks of doing nothing. No consistent schedule with Physical Therapy or RT. Lack of care for the patients lack of Communication with patients let alone family. None of the nurses were able to answer any basic questions. They were quick to medicate my husband with pain medicine to use that as an excuse not to do PT. Never met the Dr. The assistant physician we saw him maybe 4 times if that and was not helpful at all. None of the nurses could answer any of our basic questions. Needless to say we transferred him out after getting our insurance involved.
Please please PLEASE do NOT take your family member to this place. It’s a long review but please take your time to read it,and hopefully it’ll change your mind about choosing this place. My family and I read the reviews before transferring my dad from RUHS, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt since we believed there was no way a medical facility could be as bad as described. Unfortunately it was worse. My dad was there for almost a month, witching that time we were able to witness how unprofessional and careless the staff there is.They failed to give my dad his medication at times until he reminded them. (They would chart down that it was given to him even though it wasn’t). He witnessed the nurses drop his roommates medication, leave it on the floor, and the nurse wouldn’t even bother to get more. They would move on with their day without replacing the medication that fell. Nurses would yell at this man and treat him poorly since he couldn’t speak.I filed a complaint and they began giving my dad his medication correctly AND moved his roommate out! Is that not alarming??Nurses don’t show up when the patients press the nurse button or yell for help, until an hour or so later. You can hear patients yelling for help for long periods of time before anyone shows up. My dad had an emergency and yelled for help along with his new roommate and it took nurses a long time before they actually went in and they weren’t concerned.Vitals machines will stop working or beep continuously for more medication (that needs to be hooked on to the oxygen 24hrs), and nurses will not show up either. My sister had to fix the vitals machine herself because it wasn’t reading my dads vitals! (Keep in mind the nurses station was right by his room).I called in several other complaints, mainly in regards to the nursing staff and nothing was done!A HUGE RED FLAG- my dad passed away 9/15/21 and the staff there can’t seem to get their stories to match up in regards to my dads final moments that day, specially compared to what we were told by the roommate. Once again I file a complaint because we’re concerned and patient relations lady doesn’t even seem concerned! Also when we were there after being told he had passed away, the nurses kicked us out of my dads room and moved him to a hallway for us to continue saying our good byes because they had already made the arrangements to take in a new patient and they needed the room. They couldn’t even let us finish grieving his loss there in his room while we waited for the mortuary to pickup his body, They are more worried about the money than the patients. No remorse! My dad was a very loving person and didn’t deserve the treatment he received at this facility.
I would like to thank the staff at Kindred Hospital. My brother was in their care for 2 months, and I finally was able to meet some of the staff that took care of him. I first meet the Jereni' Baker, who is relentless in her efforts to help both patients/ family of the patients. She has very calming presence. I really can't say enough. She was usually swalking up and down the hall. I also talked with his case manager Jennifer and DeDe, they were very informative and helpful. The staff is working the best they can in the middle of a pandemic. My brother was treated with respect, my brother became found of a couple of the staff there, he had nice things to say of the staff that he got to know. Even the people who handle the meals there, took extra care they soon found out how much he liked a few things and always made sure he had them one of which was a never-ending flow of coffee.Again, thank you to all who attended to my brother.Sincerely Kathleen Brown

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
