List of Petaluma Health Center's Reviews
I waited almost an hour for my doctor to come for my prenatal appointment. I decided to leave, nobody communicates anything. My last appointment I had with my doctor I felt like my concerns were dismissed. The hospital system is so heavily impacted it feels like no body cares about anything anymore.
No one answers, no way for provider to provider to speak. I can't even leave a message today. This patient I need to speak about will suffer because of this phone tree issue.
I do not recommend because they never answer the phones. I mean NEVER for two years and It has gotten worse actually. Ive seen multiple doctors and they are all pretty basic but wait times are long you will see the doctor for five minutes but end up leaving two hours later. Dental also is no better with phone. The ladies who work front desk will have u waiting while they chit chatting about non sense i see it every-time. Also the texts/confirm my appointments never work. Do not return phone calls, or voicemails and will cancel ur appointments without notice. Even if u call and ask them to do something they dont do it
Terrible rude and abusive treatment from staff there. I was forced to tears after they were so mean to me.
absolutely terrible service and they have no clue how to answer the phone. they have never answered the phone for me in the 5 years i've been going there. i'm on hold for almost an hour each time and after a while the call just disconnects because you've been holding for so long. absolutely ridiculous. the ladies that answer the phone need better training or to simply just get fired and have someone else do it.
These people need to find another line of work. For anyone who needs care these people are the hardest to get ahold of. They hardly answer their phone. They should be shut down.
If you have ongoing unknown chronic issues with anxiety in the mix , you just get treated like that’s the only thing to exist and only root cause. Also When I brought up hormonal concerns(unknown hormonal imbalance), I was told “all women deal with this” from a female physician despite something being wrong.
My newborn daughter's first appointment unfortunately had to be here...my wife had a c section and she can't carry things and walk very far. They would not allow me in to carry my child to her doctors appointment They wanted me to hand my baby to some bs rent a cop at the front door so HE can carry my newborn in....are you effing kidding me I'm constantly worried about dropping her myself and you think I'm ok with some stranger carrying her. I needed to be there to carry the baby and the diaper bag and be a part of her healthcare and my wife needed to be there to so they could observe her feeding. Yes it is also a pride thing but I won't have a stranger carry my child.
Absolutely love my doctor ! But the time wait is so long was calling because of something very very important and I was on the phone almost waiting an hour and half for someone to pick up the phone
I have been a patient/client of Petaluma Health Center for several years and yes there are issues with getting through the phone system, and communication with other facilities but no worse than any of the others I have had to deal with (quite a few I call them as I see them) (such as Petaluma Valley Hospital botched multiple surgeries, simple ones then" cleansed" The records) these past years, and while the majority of their clientele and or staff may be non-white I have never experienced any bias on the part of staff or services rendered at this facility, my doctor I will simply call him dr. AA Has always been there for me and when he was not available others were likewise knowledgeable professional and courteous and doing all they could within the mandates of The system

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
