Dr Silverio Arano was super rude, unprofessional, and pushed his personal beliefs on me and made me super uncomfortable and anxious. When he asked about my drug use I told him I used medical marijuana which I have my card for in both Oregon and California. He told me I need to stop using marijuana. I told him it’s helped me a lot and that I have my medical card and he invalidated me and said that doesn’t matter. He said studies show it’s addictive and bad for you and he went out of his way to pull up some bullshit propaganda website to show me “evidence”. I told him plenty of studies show it’s benefits and he literally told me those studies are bogus. I have NEVER had a doctor who shamed me for using medical marijuana until today. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. I filed a complaint at the front desk and hopefully something is done. This old man needs to retire and stop inflicting his old timer reefer madness views on others, especially on his patients at work. Doctors are supposed to be unbiased and not push their beliefs on others. It’s 2020 not 1940.

I've been a patient at HealthCare Partners for about 10 years. I've been happy with my care. I was recently diagnosed with cancer. Even though he is not my primary doctor, I approached Dr. Arano and expected him to refer me to others. Instead, Doctor Arano was incredibly patient and kind in explaining issues and comforting me. I can't express my gratitude enough for his willingness to go out of his way to help me. Thank you Dr. Arano and thank you HealthCare Partners for great care.

Was a long time pateint of Dr. Arano and miss seeing him as a patient. We keep looking for him on line and cannot find him. My husband really misses him, as well as I do. He is a thorough physician will discuss and explain any and all ailments you may have. Come Back!!! or let us know where you are.
