Vicky Valverde-Salas's Online Review Report Card

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Dr ValverdeSalas is completely unprofessional. I went to see him a few years ago as one of the USCIS approved doctors in my area, I have since told everyone I know I had a HORRIBLE experience and to never go there. _He told me that as far as he is concerned, my marriage certificate could be fake; _He called me (a young black woman) SASSY, when I expressed my frustration about my overall experience at his office; _He tried to fill out the form wrong (putting the wrong number, misspelling my name, telling me my USCIS PROVIDED employment card was not typical and missing information ) but thankfully, I did not trust him and was double checking everything he wrote; _He asked for all sorts of strange tests to be ran on me, in an effort to make me have to come back to get my forms signed and therefore charge me more for his services (!!!!); I am with kaiser, therefore I went back to see my primary doctor to get all the tests and shot done , and she confirmed to me shes had to help multiple people with the USCIS forms and has NEVER come across some of the things I was asked to be tested and receive shots for. I cannot comment on seeing him for a regular doctor visit (though I cannot imagine that that wouldve been any good either) but for those who need to see a USCIS approved doctor look elsewhere. This process is super tedious and so very important (and expensive!) to us, and it is crazy to think that it could be messed with or slowed down so easily by one, seriously unprofessional doctor.

TERRIBLE. AVOID. WORST OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. SCAM, SEXIST, JUDGEMENTAL.

I will not be returning to Piedmont Primary Care after a horrible experience with Dr. ValverdeSalas and repeated experiences with the incompetent front desk staff. I sought care from Dr. Salas while my primary physician Dr. Zeichner was out on maternity leave. Dr. Salas is rude, judgmental, critical, and at times hostile. I felt as if he was mocking me for coming to him in a time of need and left Piedmont Primary Care feeling much worse than when I arrived, both mentally and physically. It is unfortunate that I will be leaving Piedmont Primary Care because Dr. Zeichner always treated me well, but I no longer want to support Dr. Salass practice and believe he should retire.
