Amanthi Chandrasena's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Chandrasena is a prize! I'm 74 years old and have seen many doctors over the years. I always feel Dr. Chandrasena listens and has my best interest at heart. Sometimes I balk at her suggestions and she remains respectful and firm until I finally do what she recommends. I love her for that. Plus, over the years, through staff changes, through company changes and all during the pandemic this is the best run office I've even experienced. Staff is efficient, they call back when they say they will and they get lab tests, prescriptions, etc. done when I ask. Also, office wait times are surprisingly brief! I am deeply grateful to everyone in this office.

Dr. Is outstanding. Difficult to get an appointment. Often told to go to urgent care when an appointment is needed.

Being new to the area, someone recommended Dr. Chandrasena. I had a wellness exam with Dr. Chandrasena. It was the worst exam that I ever experienced. Since I was a new patient, I wanted to go over my concerns with her. She was rushing the exam as I found out later it was right before their lunch break. How could a doctor get to know a patient in 15 minutes? It was disappointing experience and happy I found another doctor who I can trust. If I could give her a -5, I would.

Office staff use to be pleasant over the years… but as of 2021, the new office staff that exists now is not helpful , rude and unprofessional. Will need to look for a different primary.

I have been so fortunate to have found dr Chandrasena as my internist. She is always caring and helpful with any questions or concerns. Staff is also professional and appointments are on time.

Zero stars - I wanted 2 months and 23 days to be seen - and then she called and cancelled my appointment on my voice mail - from a blocked number so I cannot even ask her what to do. I NEED to be seen - I may or may not have high blood sugar - hope I don't die.

Dr. Chandrasena is AMAZING. She is VERY knowledgeable and thorough. She has a pleasant bedside manner and explains things in detail. She is efficient and considerate, striving to offer the best service possible. I am confident in her ability as a highly skilled practitioner. The office and support staff are GREAT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR

I’m normally not fully trusting of doctors from a previous bad experience but by my second visit she nailed my my problems on the head. Giving her my symptoms and some tests she had done on me and today I feel like a new person. My health vastly improved.

Dr Chandrasena really takes time to ask all the right questions. She cares about my health and inquires about all aspects of my well-being.

I scheduled a new patient appointment with Dr Chandrasena, I had to wait 3 months. I called her "call center" to confirm my appointment the morning of and yes, in fact I was on the schedule. I took off work, traveled 40 minutes and was there 20 minutes early. At that time I'm told that they had cancelled my appointment and put in another new patient because they couldn't speak to me to confirm my appointment. I had no idea dr offices would cancel an appointment when I showed up early. I work and did not receive any messages etc. Very Very disappointed - Very Very unprofessional.
