Complete lack of empathy and did not focus on the initial reason for my visit, which was sudden weight loss. Was referred to a psychiatrist and told that 'this is above my pay grade ' after she inquired about mental health and I responded that I struggled 20 years ago as a teen. Have not been back to a doctor since.

Dr. Romero is truly outstanding. She is the kind of doctor everyone dreams of finding. She listens carefully and takes time to expertly address all facets of the patient's issues. After years of unfortunate experiences with local doctors, I avoided anyone in a white coat to the fullest extent possible. After nearly a year as Dr. Romano's patient, I am so grateful to have found a doctor I can trust unconditionally. If excellence in medicine were an Olympic event, Dr. Romano would be covered in gold medals. She takes professionalism to caliber rarely seen in this community. She is simply the best.

The new office staff is fantastic! Dr. Romero is attentive and thorough. I've worked with plenty of doctors at UCLA. You want someone who is serious about your health. If you're looking for a few good laughs, go out with your friends.

Dr Romero correctly identified my rare autoimmune disease on my first visit. For nearly my entire life ( starting in pediatrics) I’ve had different physicians dismiss my collection of symptoms. This was not the case with Dr Romero. She asked about my concerns, actively listened, asked follow up questions, and took immediate action. I left her office with a referral to a Rheumatologist and DNA tests confirmed that Dr. Romero was correct. Dr. Romero is the reason my disease is being monitored, my symptoms are being treated, and my quality of life has improved. I will be forever grateful to her. At every visit I have found her to be kind, attentive, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable/smart. She takes the time to explain possible causes for your concern and takes immediate action to help. TLDR: I highly recommend Dr. Romero. She is kind, attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. Her correct identification of my rare medical condition improved my quality of life.

Dr. Romero your staff needs to be replaced. They are rude and unhelpful, and downright snarky. You should know this since they represent you and I'm now searching for another doctor. I waited six months to see you and I wouldn't put up with your staff for any reason. I hope you read these reviews as I'm not the only one.

If i could review negatively, I would. Been a patient since 2018, when I called to be seen for an appointment. I was told I wasn't a patient and have never been there. Which is untrue due to the fact I've been a patient since 2018. Then got hung up on. I called again from my phone and no one picked up, immediately called from my boyfriends phone and finally got through. Just to be told I couldn't be seen for 4 months, for an infection. Also tried getting prescriptions refilled and was told that it couldn't be done, even though I've been on the prescribed meds since 2018.

Every time i call i am put on hold forever and frequently hung up on. Today i called on two phones and told the person who answered i would not hold. They still put me on hold. I gave up after holding on two phones for 15 minutes. Would not even take a number to call me back.

I knew Mary-Barbara when she was working at Kaiser Permanente. She was a part-time doctor at the time. Regardless, she would come home and work for hours regarding email inquiries about prescriptions as well as health concerns. On her own time! She does have a straightforward demeanor, but when you're dealing with medical science that is the person you need help from....

Never got a visit or to talk to the doctor. Only holding on the phone. Called three days...same nonresponse. Wouldn't even take a number to call me back. Today i had two phones holding. Gave up after 15 minutes.
