Very long wait. Doctor act like he did not want to check on hat was going on with my knees.

Amazing surgeon and very personable. I completely destroyed my knee in one move. He successfully repaired it all including attaching a cadaver part for my new ACL. I recommend Dr.Laird 100%.

A Surgeon that is an Expert at his trade! Intelligent and passionate about his work, great with patients and it just flows from there to an outstanding staff and choice of surgical center. I had reservations about surgery after several poor outcomes from different procedures/doctors over many years. But when my Meniscus tore badly, this was the Doctor EVERYONE recommended. I'm so happy for the outcome, but mostly for the way in which Dr.Laird and his staff treated me. Caring, with Integrity and Good Medicine. Thank you Dr.Laird and your Super awesome Team!

Unfortunately it's been 2 years and I believe that I got a botched surgery after a total hip replacement. I now have a substantial leg length discrepancy and I'm in pain most of the time. It is difficult to sit for long periods of time and difficulty in sleeping due to pain. Standing is best for me but my leg stiffens and locks after a few hours. I literally have to drag my leg while in excruciating pain. Since my surgery, I have met other patients of Dr. Laird's who have also experienced unfortunate surgeries! I DO NOT and would never recommend this doctor! NO STARS

My experience did not have a happy ending. I broke my leg a couple years ago and went to Sierra Vista Hospital, while there they recommended Dr. Laird for surgery. I was X-rayed and met with Dr. Laird approx 24 hours after the accident to access my options, cast or 3 pins/screws. I chose screws to accelerate healing. After 8 weeks - I was allowed to gently starting walking.Dr. Laird during treatment stated we'd access other areas such as possible tears to the meniscus and other damage after the leg was healed and swelling went down. Also he didn't think I needed PT. All of which never happened, also the pins were never removed. The pins are still causing swelling and pain around that area. I now walk with a limp and know there's nerve damage down the side of my calf and other issues that were never addressed. I should have had Physical Therapy to assist proper healing and the screws should have been removed right away. I did go back approximately a year later to schedule getting the screws removed although the surgery sounded very scary and Dr. Laird didn't sound too reassuring, there were a lot of risks at this point in time, since the screws are so grown into the bone. I recommend checking out your options with a couple surgeons. You want someone who will follow up with your care and properly access the damage and for sure get PT.
