Wendy Weiss's Online Review Report Card

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I should have paid attention to other reviews. My first and last appointment with NP at this location was a joke. In addition to the two BP meds that I currently take, this office called in two additional BP meds without communicating with me about the new meds. The combination of two of the new meds could have caused cardiac arrest. Thank goodness the Pharmacist caught this. Since 8/29/22 I have requested a refund on their $100 "annual admin fee" on three different occasions. On 12/20/22 the receptionist RUDELY informed me that they will not reimburse this fee and she hung up on me.

When I got the reminder call they said my appt was at 10 am. I got out of work at 9am. Walked into the Dr office at 9:20. Told them I was early. They said my appt was at 9am that I was late and had to pay 50.00. seriously?? Why would I make an appt for 9am when I don't get out of work until 9am???? I'm going to look for another Dr in the next work. Also I've been going to this place for 2 years and have never met the Dr. I go every 6 months and there is a different PA. If I could give 0 I would.

I've been seeing Dr. Weiss for several years and I highly recommend her as a physician. She is extremely intelligent & knowledgeable. She is a veteran who is still serving our country. Dr. Weiss is always courteous and friendly. She ALWAYS has a smile on her face and her positive attitude is infectious. Dr. Weiss should be at the top of the list when searching for a family physician!

Front desk is very unfriendly. Dr Weiss was very condescending and arrogant. She asked a lot of very personal questions, and offered terrible advice. I said I was going through a rough patch in my marriage, and she said I "better have left my husband before my next doctor visit." Who says that?!? Luckily I didn't take her advice, my husband and I figured things out. We said for better or worse! Dr Weiss was more concerned with judging my personal life than offering medical advice. She doesn't seem interested in anything other than botox injections and medical aesthetics. Maybe she should just specialize in that and give up primary care. She's very rude, and I've never felt more uncomfortable with a doctor in my life. Find another doctor! Literally any other doctor.

Very rude staff, tired of calling them for my lab test results and referral medication. Every year I have to see new AD . Very disappointed with Center and the way they Handel Everything.

I've been going to doctor Weiss's office for years usually just for the routine annual check up. I've only seen Dr Weiss on my first visit . The only time I get a fast appointment and get to see doctor Wendy Weiss is when I make a appointment for botox or laser hair removal . If I request to see Dr. Weiss it'll take a month or longer. My doctor there was the PA Kimen Colgan . She was great she did the right thing to leave that unorthodox Practice . She is better to disassociate with Dr. Wendy Weiss Practice. For the first time I really needed serious medical care. I broke my ankle in the middle of the night I was taken to the emergency room . I was told be the ER Dr. My ankle is severely broken in 3 places and needed surgery asap . I'm having the hardest time getting a referral to a Orthopedic surgeon . I don't know what the problem is we have very good surgeons in the Pismo beach/ Arroyo Grande area but they seem to send me to the worst and furthest (Templeton) orthopedic surgeon they could find . Now I'm going on my 11 day with broken ankle . I was told that surgery should be performed ASAP within 7 to 10 days after day of injury today is my 11th day and I'm waiting to get a referral. I tried to be proactive and called my insurance to see how I could speed up my process .They told me its up to my doctors office to request an emergency referral. When I called Dr. Weiss office and talked to the person handling my referral she basically told me to shut up and let her do her job . So I'm at their mercy.

I've been going to Pismo beach Family practice for years. The only time I saw Dr.Weiss for medical care was on my first visit. I'm in good health the only time I went in was for routine annual check up. I was always seen by P.A Kimmon Colgan who is no longer there. she was awesome . I broke my ankle he middle of the night and was seen at the ER. X-rays revealed my ankle was severely broken in 3 places ER Dr. said I needed surgery asap. Getting an emergency referral from Dr.Weiss office is impossible. They got a Orthopedic surgeon in Templeton to see I live in Arroyo Grande. I called my insurance they provided me with a list of orthopedic surgeon in my area that Specialize an ankle surgery. I called Dr.Weiss office and I was told to shut up and let them do there job I was told by the ER doctor I needed to have surgery within 7 to 10 days after the date of injury this is day 12 .Office staff are bullies made me cry and cause me unduestressrunninoutofspacestayawayifyouneedmedcare

Feeling very frustrated with the office of Dr Wendy Weiss. Yesterday I made an appointment and was told it was at 1:45 (I wrote it down as I was being told). Today when I walked in they told me it was at 1:30 and they could NOT see me. Meanwhile a gentleman comes in at 1:52 for his 2:pm appointment, and he is still waiting 20min later. Even if the mistake was mine, how is this right!?!? Also still waiting on a call from labs that were done 4mon ago. When I asked about them, I was given the results with “see above comment” but there is no comment and in order to find out I need to “make an appointment.”

Not even worth one star. Stay away from this provider! My elderly mom saw PA Kimen Colgan at this office for years. Kimen was wonderful but she went to work for an oncology group so I eventually found my elderly mom a new doctor. Weiss was at best negligent with my mom’s care. And that $100 annual administrative fee is just more greed. You have to pay even more for her to sign any documents. Weiss should limit herself to seeing her botox and fat sculpt clients..not anyone with serious medical conditions.
