Never had a problem. Friendly fast caring and professional.
I really hate posting negative reviews but this hospital charged $30k for a severe vomiting episode. We only had to pay a $150 deductible because of our insurance but if you didnt have any you would really be in debt. My son was in the ER for 3 hours and had an IV and some anti nausea medication. We will never be able to fix the health care system as long as hospitals bill for this ridiculous amount. As for the doctors and Nurse they did a good job.
Yep worst and most unethical hospitalER. I went to the ER to get tested for Covid back in January. Mind you at this point testing is free. I had no symptoms except for a loss of taste. Wasnt sure if it could be allergies or Covid so I went to get tested. The moment I get there outside they have a triage area set up. They ask me if I have symptoms to which I respond just a loss of taste. No other issues. Told them I could run a marathon as I felt that good. I find out later that that with no dire symptoms I shouldve been directed to a different area of the ER to where the testing couldve been free. There are no signs indicated that there is free testing mind you. So despite me telling them that I had no issues but the loss of taste they take me in as a regular ER patient and charge me $2000+ to get tested. Ive fought this for months and apparently this was presented to the higher powers and they are standing their ground. I will be getting an attorney to fight this. This is not worth going to. I had heard awful stories in the past about this hospital but thought that it was just that...stories. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Honestly you are better off going to St. Jude.
Im here for my wifes pain and Ive checked in their emergency room through online but as soon as I got here guy at the front desk said we dont use online................????????????????? really?
very nice doctor and nurses got seen quick. very patient oriented staff I live 40 miles away wish they were closer.
Had my gallbladder taken out. Woke up in a hallway on plastic gurney in a pool of my own urine. Had a terrible ER experience. Paramedics wouldn’t take me anywhere else when they could have. Cost me $2000 to be transferred. Paramedic told me its where he takes his family….good luck with that sht hole.
I wanted to say thank you to the safe from placentia Linda surgery pavilion they were very through and in good spirits got me in quick and all set up for surgery let me know I was in good hands of course with the best dr ever dr Frederick Deitrick amazing amazing hands down. Also the nurse from my post surgery were great but there was one the stood out the most from the first night I meet here she made me feel comfortable and let me know that whenever I needed her she would be there and when I tell you those words she said she stuck by them 💯 percent whenever I asked for help or just had a question she was there she was amazing exceptional to the fullest she works on noc shift her name is CHRISTINE I wish I was able to get her last name but anyone who reads this knows her let her know I was very greatful for her.
I brought my sister here for abdominal pain and fever. She was seen by another Emergency Hospital and was misdiagnosed. She still had pain and fever weeks after being “treated” by the other place. Brought her here by word of mouth that this ER was top notch. So glad we did because she could of went septic. Every person we came in contact with here were friendly and super knowledgeable and figured out the problem in less than 3 hours. I usually wait that long in the lobby of other ERs I could not believe how wonderful this place is.
For me being in this hospital for my surgery in Placentia Linda hospital it was a great experience all the staff in the hospital treat me with care and compassion all the nurse lady’s that help me and the person that register me to be in the hospital were really great and supportive with me and my parents Thank you so much all of you guys and many blessing to all of guys and the entire hospital staff. EXCELENTE SERVICIO GRACIAS. 👌👍SincerelyRosa Hernández
Ill start off by saying I believe the ER department of this hospital deserves a 1 star review but considering how nice the RN was I changed it to 2 stars. The online ER wait system is nice to create an appointment to go to the ER however it doesnt help keep track of whats going on while youre there which seems like a bug issue.Once I got into the ER room the doctor came in for 1 second. She came back and didnt even attempt to examine me to find the underlying cause of the issue. I mentioned to the ER doctor at PlacentiaLinda Hospital that I could feel something sitting in the back of my throat and pressure behind my ears. She didnt even bother to take a look at my throat or my ears. I even explained that I couldnt breathe through my mouth or nose when I was trying to sleep and shrugged it off saying it was a reaction to having a nasal polypbenign growth in my nose. They gave me a medicinewhich they didnt document giving me on the discharge paperwork I received along with many typos. I left with a huge headache from the medicine they gave me and no relief of any of my issues. The RN I had during my visit was incredibly nice and she was trying to help but you could tell she didnt want to contradict the doctor and was trying to basically just support the doctor and what they said.I ended up going to a different ER department in Irvine. I waited for about 3040 minutes and was seen by a resident who knew exactly how to fix my issue listened to me about how I was feeling. He found out that on top of my main issuenot being able to breathe due to my nasal polyp swelling I was also having a major allergic reaction that caused my tonsils to swell which was why I couldnt breathe when I tried to sleep. He immediately gave me medicationwhich later on my aunt googled nasal polyp and the medication I was given at the 2nd ER was exactly is mentioned when you look at the treatments for a nasal polyp on GOOGLE. He thoroughly explained all the information I needed to know. He repeated it to his RN while in front of me and watched as the RN was discussing discharge and briefing me on the visit. This is the 2nd time Ive been to PlacentiaLinda Hospital and the first time went just as bad with a different doctor.Im not saying to avoid this hospital but dont expect them to thoroughly look into any issues you may have unless its a minor procedure. I would trust them with fixing a broken bone or giving me stitches on an injury but I wouldnt trust them with anything that may be complicated with multiple internal symptoms.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
