I love Dr. Sun! He has a great personality and very knowledgeable. I was unable to talk (laryngitis) and he was able to show me why and gave me options to consider. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an EMT who isn't a stick in the mud. He will make you laugh.

The two stars go to the front office staff who were friendly and scheduled me for a appointment asap when I was experiencing some inner ear problems. I don't think Dr. Sun is a bad doctor but I do think he lacks bedside manners. He initially diagnosed me with TMJ and then I came back to him a few weeks later saying my ears still felt funny he ordered me a hearing test. When I went back for the results he said 'hmmm you have three out of the four symptoms I'm going to say you have meneries disease" and I told him but I'm not experiencing vertigo or any dizziness and he said "not yet" I immediately broke down into tears and he said "well don't cry it's not cancer" he then unnecessarily prescribed me medicine and handed me a printed pamphlet for a disease he didn't even bother on doing more testing for. How can you diagnose someone with a life changing disease and not even do the testing for it? He also told me tinnitus never goes away and welp he was wrong again! After successfully treating my TMJ I no longer have tinnitus and my hearing test came back normal. If you have thick skin then yeah this might be your doctor but if you want a doctor who's gonna be compassionate, do all the testing, and rule out the serious stuff then look elsewhere. I had to go to two other ENT's just to have them give me weird looks and say you definitely do not have meneries!

Oh my gosh, thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Sun! I have had lifelong sinus problems that kept getting worse with age. Went to see another ENT first who pretty much dismissed me, and told me I had allergies and silent Gerd (which I went through a medical procedure under anesthesia to rule out... I don't have Gerd), and never even addressed my symptoms otherwise. Fortunately, I did not give up and went to see Dr. Sun based on excellent reviews as well as a personal referral from a friend and her husband who both recently had procedures done with him. I had a pretty bad deviated septum that was the source of all my woes! Had surgery last week, had my follow up today to get the plastic bridges removed, and oh my gosh what a difference! I feel like I have my life back. I have never breathed so well in my life, and there's a good chance my allergy issues will now be greatly reduced or eliminated. Either way I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Sun. He listens and is eager to get to the root of the problem and fix it. I've never waited longer than 15 minutes past my appointment time, and he even has evening appointments on Wednesdays at his Placentia location. If you need the help of an ENT, you could not be in better hands than with him. I am so very grateful.

Dr. Sun has the best bedside manners of any doctor I've been to! Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had a bad case of swimmers ear and went to see Dr. Jimmy Sun and found out that wax had been pushed deep into my ear drum. Well he used his special vacuum and gave me back my hearing. Yay!!! Thank you Doctor

Thank you Dr. Sun!!! Dr. Sun is good and attentive for my nose problem, not too much talk,straight to the point and he explained the procedure to me in a very understandable words, Price wise, it's worth! And he fixed my nose issue well! No more nosebleed and I have a sweet recovery as well!

I was referred to Dr. Sun by my primary care physician for treatment of a extremely painful ear infection that turned out to be an extreme nasal infection causing several ENT symptoms and problems. Dr. Sun’s professional diagnosis, treatment plan and personal care resolved the issue starting on day one of my first visit. Dr. Sun was so thorough and engaging throughout the entire process and follow ups. In addition, all within a 3 month period of time, with coordination of my endocrinologist Dr. Sun also performed parathyroidectomy Surgery on my neck and the removal of a tumor on one of the glands.Dr. Sun explained the entire process from start to finish with such great care and professionalism I knew I was in outstanding care. He and his entire surgical and office staff were nothing short of excellent! They handled the entire process from insurance approvals, hospital information and home recovery. From start to finish I am completely and whole heartedly grateful to Dr. Sun and staff!

Spent an hour but could not clean my sons ears. The whole experience was intimidating for my son, he is scarred for good and doesn't allow anyone to touch his ears anymore.I got the bill after a month and the only form of payment they accept is mail payment. No online/credit card billing option available.

I wish I could speak on Dr. Sun's work as a doctor, but his receptionists never let me get that far. I was referred over by my allergist for possible nasal polyps and waited two weeks for an appointment. When I arrived, the receptionists kept asking who referred me over like I hadn't already included it in my paperwork, as though I was mistaken about the practice. After wasting an hour of my time, the receptionist tells me that my insurance isn't accepted (which is stupid because I had done an online check-in with my insurance AND my allergist is aware of my insurance, so he wouldn't refer me someplace that wouldn't take it). After leaving, I called my insurance and asked for a list of providers within 20 miles of my home location, and guess who was on there - Dr. Sun. Same city, same practice. So not only was my time wasted, but they denied me medical care for absolutely no valid reason. Now they will not answer/return my calls and I have to wait another month for an ENT appointment with another clinic. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice and suggest you look elsewhere that emphasizes patient care.

3 years of misery with my throat finally came to an end once I visited Dr. Sun. I had issues of choking on food and then it turned into a tightness in my throat all the time. I went to multiple doctors that were not able to figure out the issue. Dr. Sun is always super friendly and had some of the best listening skills of any doctor I have ever seen. He does not try to multi-task while the patient is speaking. Most doctors hear their patients but he listens. He gave me options with the positive and negatives for my diagnosis and let me choose the route to take. He then told me his opinion and why. He did the same thing when we found out I had Zenker's Diverticulum and there were different options to fix it. The surgery went super smooth as expected and my throat is finally fixed. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Sun. I hope you consider him if you are looking for an ENT doctor.
