I have been a patient of Dr L. Camisa for over 20 years and believe she is a wonderful person and a great Doctor. I always recommend her when I am asked.She is a bit more busy these days and getting an appointment can be difficult. But I recommend she is worth any wait.Dr. Camisa is a skilled physician,. Dr Camisa Medical skills are well above her colleagues. Dr Camisa skills include communication, problem-solving, emotion control, and medical knowledge are very clear after you meet her.Please the the time to get to know her as you will be pleasantly pleased.

I’ve seen Dr Camisa since she has started practicing. She is the best in the business.

Dr. Camisa is a run of the mill FM physician who’s no better than your average C-grade med student. She’s not thorough, has no interest in underlying causes, ignores blatant signs of serious health issues (subsequently leading to patient death) and has no tact when talking to staff about her patients IN FRONT of said patient. “Oh she takes forever, I’ll see her last” even though my mom had already been sitting in the exam room for 40 minutes. I waited til after my mom’s death (her cancer diagnosed late [in my very strong opinion] due to Dr. Camisa’s negligence) to write these reviews of her practice. CA Medical Board is next on my list.

I found Dr Camisa when she was in Sacramento from a colleague's recommendation. She took one look at my issue and correctly diagnosed it without an MRI (which she ordered just to be sure). No one had been able to figure it out previously. Since then, she has been my primary care doctor. She and her staff take the time to listen and explore alternatives for keeping me healthy. I trust her and her staff and after ten years of care will continue to keep them as my primary care providers.

Leanne Camisa's office is horrible with patient communication! During 2018 I had to call multiple times to get diagnostic results, and my last mammogram, the office never called! Today is the last straw - called Camisa's Placerville office on Dec. 26th and there is a recording saying closed for the holidays. no info on when they'll be back open. even the answering service doesn't know. it is past time to find another GP. the office is horrible!

Dr. Camisa has been mine and my daughter’s doctor for many years. We were patients at her Sacramento practice and continue to see her, even in Placerville. I think she is fair and practices medicine from the heart — with a good mix of her years of experience and common sense. I’ve never had any issues with her office. Everyone’s always been very sweet and helpful. My daughter is a young adult now and I’m happy she’s had good experience with her healthcare provider as a youth into adulthood.

Appallingly run practice, avoid! Not only did I have to call multiple times for my results, it was the receptionist who eventually read them to me... What’s worse is that she read them incorrectly, which I wouldn’t have found out if I hadn’t requested that the doctor call me. On top of that, they never actually sent my referral through, so after calling three times I ended up just making an appointment with the new practice myself. Very disappointed

A very good family doctor who takes her time and Listens to her patients a thing missing from many of todays Doctors.

Dr. Camisa is wonderful. She takes the time to listen to your situation. The whole staff in the office is awesome and friendly. She moved me through my process in a fast and timely manner. ??

Horribly run practice, would definitely not recommend
