Philip Rush's Online Review Report Card

My family loved Dr. Rush. He was my primary doctor my whole life. However, he told me I did not have scoliosis my whole life and I found out today that I have scoliosis as well as other issues with my back that could have been prevented by him. I am distraught that not one time that he checked my back specifically for scoliosis for the 18 years I saw him that he did not catch this but it took a chiropractor 1 minute to discover this. If he would have taken the time to check me properly or refer me to someone who could then I would likely have a straight spine today and be living my live with little to no back pain. To the parents that may read this please please please get at least 3 opinions on your kids health. It took my parents 3 tried to get me a doctor who properly checked and xrayed me. By the time they did it was too late, I am fully grown and will have these problems for the rest of my life.

Best Doctor

My family loved Dr. Rush. He was my primary doctor my whole life. When I had my daughter 6 years ago I was completely unprepared and did not have a pediatrician lined up as I should have. With that said, I had asked 3 separate labor and delivery nurses if they had any recommendations and all three (who had not encountered one another) recommended Dr. Rush! I was convinced, and listened to those incredible nurses, and wow was I lucky! Our daughter had several health issues her first year of life and De. Rush was always spot on with what he said was going on, but he doesn’t stop there. He makes referrals, he consults his nurse and coworker physician, he goes the extra mile to ensure that he is right, taking no chances with my baby- what’s not to love about that?!! I have always felt entirely open with him as he seems genuinely passionate about his work, patients, and families. Normally, when I ask a staff how they feel about the doctor they work for I get mixed reviews but not with Dr. Rush! He is well liked by all of his peers and employees. To me, that says a lot about a person. I started off as an extremely anxious mother, requesting several appointments but have never felt like a bother to Dr. Rush, his amazing nurse Maryanne, or other staff. If anything it was the exact opposite! I felt welcomed, reassured, and relieved knowing my daughter was receiving THE BEST care. For me to trust my child’s (now children’s) doctor with their lives I believe says everything there is to be said. In case it wasn’t, when my son was born this year my nurse asked me who his doctor was going to be and I told her Dr. Rush and her exact words were, “He’s the best! He was my doctor when I was a kid.” How amazing is that?! These days my only concern is keeping my 5 year old from faking ailments to go see and laugh with Dr. Rush who’s an absolutely riot! Thank you so much Dr. Rush, Maria, Maryanne, Elaine, and Jennifer! You have all made an incredible difference in my family’s life!

Dr. Rush is such a great doctor with a wonderful personality. He never rushes me and always listens to all my paranoid worries about my 2 year old daughter. He is not one of those type of doctors who talks down to you or looks at you weird when you ask an annoying question. My husband and I feel 100% trust in this doctor and the care he provides to our daughter. He also has a great sense of humor which makes a visit with a screaming 2 year old so much better!The staff is wonderfully attentive and I could tell they really work well as a team. Aside from the amazing people, the office is clean and fun for kids! We love the fish tank in the waiting room and lots of paintings all over the walls!

Excelente pediatra

We absolutely love Dr Rush! I first met Dr Rush 3 years ago at 4 a.m. after I delivered my baby girl she had jaundice and a lot of bruising. Of course as a new parent I was scared, along with all the new parent feels. But I felt really comforted and reassured by Dr Rush. She ended up having to be admitted to the hospital to be put under the light but through that whole scary Journey Dr rush and his staff were so helpful kind thorough. I always felt like my daughter was in good hands and now my 3 month old baby boy loves Dr Rush too! Who he also met at 4am after delivery. Such an dedicated hard-working Dr. I feel so lucky to have such a great doctor for my babies. He gives 100%. And you can clearly see he gives his whole heart to his work and his patients. He's so easy to talk too! very kind, very considerate and thorough. Just a great person I can tell even my babies get a good vibe from him. I feel good knowing that I can take my kids to a doctor that actually genuinely cares! And the staff is also great! Super friendly kind and helpful! The atmosphere in this office is all together so awesome down to the fish tank in the waiting room to the hand painted jungle and animals on their patient room walls (my babies love them!) I can't say enough how great Dr Rush and his staff are!
