I appreciate Dr. Esche's holistic approach to medicine: treat the patient not just symptoms. He ordered blood tests for vitamins and homocysteine for me and then recommended supplements for improving my general health which affects the skin condition. No I am taking several vitamins and supplements he recommended and feel great. My skin rashes eased without medications. He is always willing to talk about natural healing and healthy lifestyle. I wish all doctors had such approach.

Thorough exam and a mole was removed right then, quickly and painlessly. Dr. Esche had good information and advice about nutrition, skin care and general health. The appointment was not rushed.

I saw Dr. Esche for the 1st time on 2/1/19. Very personable, seemed very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, gave me some cost-cutting hints, and thoroughly assessed my situation. His Herndon office has just opened up, so it's not yet they typical assembly line one finds in a busy office.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Esche today (1/23/2019). I found him to be thorough, extremely knowledgeable and personable. I have vitiligo so there was plenty to talk about - especially melanoma risk. He gave me "homework" - specific instructions including getting a blood test to check my level of vitamin D, Google Images on melanoma (get familiar with what they look like so I know when to call on him), and acquire the over-the-counter sunscreen pill, Heliocare. I went to Dr Esche concerning a mole on my arm. It turned out to be malignant melanoma. Dr. Esche was extremely personable and after my surgery gave me his personnel cell phone number and told me to phone or text him if any problems developed prior to having my stitches removed. They did not. He was incredibly polite and treated me and his staff with great respect. I would highly recommend him.

Very rude. He was a substitute for my dermatologist who was on medical leave. Probably having a bad day.

Did not like his bedside manner, do not trust his diagnoses. I am fair skinned and have a strong family history of skin cancer. I have a lesion on my face that is concerning, that with the family history, I don't feel that he took anything seriously. Even if it is benign he did not offer much in the way of options. Would NOT recommend.
