List of John Muir Pleasanton Outpatient Center's Reviews
The medical services are fine but billing, customer support is horrible. They sent due bills even after timely payment and redirected to collection center. I have called multiple times to resolve the issue and they had mentioned that system issue on clearing payments, no history of calls, it is unorganized system, total mess, no one is responsible. Stay away from this hospital network/Walnut Creek/Pleasanton. Total crazy medical network and unprofessional business practice.
I would like to share my experiences over the course of several years with Dr B Saw He does not read records, he did not request any tests other than an EKG in the several years I was with him. Even after a severe accident that created a lot of fluid around my heart for months. I was only informed of this after a pacer check was ordered for an operation on my neck by my surgeon. It was the pacers field technician who informed me of this after the fact (3 months after). Dr saw never talked to me about the fluid around my heart and never tried to get any more tests for me , Leading me to this review finally and my finding a cardiologist who is professional. This cardiologist (Dr. Saw) even had the audacity to tell social security that there was nothing seriously wrong with me. I am a 50 year old struggling every day with a rare heart disease in which if he only read the definition of my disease he would see it says on the first paragraph that this disease is rare, extremely unpredictable and DEGENERATIVE and volatile killing most people before 20 years of age without the proper medications, testing and life changes including reduction of stress and stress on the body such as lifting. Being that I wasn't diagnosed until ,30 years old , that's 20 years of known degeneration and whatever degeneration was happening before I was diagnosed. So if you have family and are looking for a cardiologist for them take my words of advice and look elsewhere because this man only cares about the money aspect of being a doctor. I had forgiven too many mistakes and just pure neglect not to let other sick people know that Dr. Saw does not respect the patient or his profession.
X Ray Ordered - lobby ghosts youLab work ordered - lobby doesn’t answer calls nor follows up on messages.Primary Care Doctor - absolutely atrocious, no empathy for patient nor has a CLUE about how to treat minor dermatology issues. If you get a cyst, you’ll be referred to general surgery (which makes zero sense).Awful provider
I had a bad experience. Waited 45 mins to be seen with Dr. Rijhwani to tell me she will recommend a specialist. I was also hit in the face with a device. I will be looking for a new doctor.
I was told the lab opens at 7:30 am. Both times I have been there, no one shows up until almost 8am. For those of us that work, this is a huge problem. Several people left before anyone showed up.
Jessica Vermeulen clearly lacks empathy for her patients. I was just another number, so to speak. This physician pushes medication on you that doesn't treat the core problem. After addressing my concerns, she was quick to shut me down and show me the door. Leaving me with no resolve, not to mention a total wast of time and money. John Muir's finest!
Great. Friendly people, great service.
Ask their hmo provider number and IPA/MG name, they told me ask my company's HR. Does John Muir works for my company too?Really a pain in the ass.
All the staff here are great! Really warm and welcoming. I love my doctor, Dr. Tafreshian. She is amazing!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
