List of Kris Yogam's Reviews
Dr. Kris Yogam successfully delivered all 6 of my children. She is the most skilled and knowledgeable doctor ever! Her colleagues have been lifted up by her quick thinking, calm, straight to the point problem solving expertise. Our family is grateful to her for her years of dependable knowledge and skills. Every birth is a journey for each woman to make. Dr. Yogam is who you want to help you bring your new family member into the world safely.Thank you Dr. Yogam!
Dr. Yogam is an excellent doctor. I had high blood pressure through most of my pregnancy and she never once made me feel like she was not looking out for my best interests. She was very knowledgeable and frequently answered questions when I asked. She would send me for non-stress tests, urine tests (to check for extra protein signaling preeclampsia), and lots of blood tests. It is because of her that I was able to catch the preeclampsia so quickly, have my baby delivered healthy and all of us walk out alive. I was a terrified first mother and she never made me feel like I wasn't being heard. She is CRASS and VERY straight to the point. Her no-nonsense personality reminds me of my grammy so it was not an issue to me, but I can definitely see how this may not be for others. If you do not like someone who tells it like it is or has no filter (this comes with old age and experience I think) then I would recommend someone else. (I told her I wanted to stick to my birth plan during delivery and she looked at me straight face and said "If I follow your birth plan, you will die". I found out later that she was right. I would have.) Her office is old and not very fancy, (you have to get ultrasounds at alta bates instead of the office etc) but it gets the job done. Like others have said, there were times when I was rescheduled for an appointment at the last minute, but I also understand this as one can never be certain about appointments when a baby is being born or an emergency c-section is needed. Part of the reason I understand this is because it happened to me and I am sure that was an inconvenience on another mother that could not have been avoided.
Wow I can't believe Dr Yogam is still around. I'm wondering if Nurse Camel is still there too? She delivered my son in 1985 I was 14 years old & daughter in 1987 at Alta Bates hospital. She also delivered my sister son ( my nephew in 1985.
She delivered my daughter back in 2019, she was rude to me, and nurses
Straight forward OB. No BS. She’s helped me w 3 pregnancies and has been amazing during birth. I trust her and she’s never made a mistake. She basically runs L&D at Altabates in Berkeley. I believe they named the floor after her.
She delivered my daughter back in 2019. She was rude to me, and also very rude to staff.
Terrible experience for my wife when visiting this doctor's office. She made it obvious she did not care about my wife's pregnancy, her professionalism was horrendous, office was very dirty and appointment setting was unorganized. When my wife asked questions about the health of the baby's heart, doctor yogam would got offended and felt she had to remind my wife that she has been doing her job for 40 years. Also, she felt it necessary to tell my wife that she's retiring and she should go to another doctor. When my wife asked did she have any reccomendations for another doctor, she vaguely responded "no". Furthermore, after checking the babies heart rate for only a few seconds, doctor yogam did not give any details on the baby's health. She came off as if she had something better to do and left my wife leaving the office in tears. Never again.
Dr Yogam is the best doctor in Cali.. she has delivered me and my brother long time ago with csection and now has delivered my 3 kids csection and almost half my family labours....I am so grateful to have her as my obgyn she know what she’s doing and professionally does it well....the only bad thing about it is she has long waits and always cancel appointments yes I get it she has to deliver babies...but she’s always there at the hospital ready..... love her assistant nabeela how beautiful soul and most amazing Assistant ever....love her....
Had my daughter with Doctor Yogams support years ago and I will never forget the care she gave me. She was the best! My visits were always pleasant and had a great experience. I remember she actually went out sick for awhile literally like the day of my daughters delivery and she still had her office staff call and check on me and baby.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
