Navin Mallavaram's Online Review Report Card

I really like Dr Mallavaram. He listens to his patients and tries to find ways to help you feel better. This is all happening during the COVID impact - the communication between the office and my insurance company seems to be very slow. I am not sure where the fault lies in all honesty.

I am in severe pain all day long it is physically and mentally exhausting. I am tired all the time and at night pain keeps awaking me up. Pain medication don't do anything I keep getting them hoping they would help me. I have no idea what to do at this point. I want at least my hip injections to take away some of the pain but provider said no. 😔 😢

Dr Mallavaram he is a good pain management doctor. He listens to you and will do whatever he can to help you. The staff at doctors office they are very professional always happy to see you and know your name.

I have seen a lot of pain specialist and I am not an easy patient. I was born with a lot of congenital defects, but I have total confidence in this Dr. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Mallavaram is a wonderful doctor and is straightforward and did an excellent job on my procedures. I love him and his staff! I think all the negative reviews are from people who want medication passed out like candy. Thank you all for your care and kindness!

Dr. M subjected me 3 times to an invasive procedure that no other doctor, including a world-renowned surgeon at U.C. Med, has been able to explain; his reasoning remains a mystery. It was always painful, but no damage was done. His lack of medical expertise was more shocking on the topic of second opinions, an accepted step for a patient to take, supported and even suggested by most specialists. He was deeply insulted. He is, sadly, unfamiliar with both medicine and healthcare decision-making.

I called to speak with him 1 week before my surgery and waited 3 days for a call back and then was only contacted by his rude receptionist. After surgery I ended up in the ER with the physician and my surgeon trying to reach Dr. Mallavaram to no avail.  After I was released the rude receptionist called me and asked "what did I want" when I phoned the doctor over the weekend during my hospital stay.  The conversation ended up with her hanging up on me and not even listening or asking what my hospital stay entailed.  A week later I went to see the Dr. Mallavaram for my regular scheduled appointment and was told when I arrived that he didn't want to see me - that it "wasn't a good match."  WTF   This guy and his office behave like temperamental babies instead of professional adults who provide care for someone going through one of the hardest times of their life.
