List of Coastal Health Alliance's Reviews
I need to update this as more and more I am realizing that besides what I wrote before they where so dismissive and minimizing of many symptoms they caused a serious delay in receiving correct diagnosis on very important medical issues and now I may lose my colon. I will forever wonder if I had gone to different doctors who took my complaints seriously and referred me to the correct specialists have made a difference? I do know my children went from being terrified of doctors to loving getting to see their pediatrician once we switched and decided it is worth traveling an hour each way for medical care instead of going to the local clinic. I feel so sad for people who have no other options. I worry about friends who also seems to have had the same problems with diagnosis and at least one friend dead. I don't know if it was because of her treatment at the clinic but after my experiences I don't see how I could ever feel safe going there. not unless they had all new doctors.
Everyone the3is FABULOUS ❣
Coastal Health Alliance is a good medical outpost in West Marin. They have clinics in Pt. Reyes, Bolinas, and Stinson Beach. They have a good amount of fabulous Midwives. They can draw blood, do basic medical evaluation, and offer very good referrals. They also are associated with Kaiser. So if you have Kaiser and live in West Marin you can get cared for at a Coastal clinic rather than driving an hour to go to a Kaiser Hospital. Very grateful for the care and service they provide.
Organized, professional.
I am now dealing with health problems that took a lot longer to get properly diagnosed than they should have taken. years ago I was having problems and I went to Diane Holzer and mentioned them and she was so minimizing. when I was in horrible pain she laughed at me.Anna O'Malley always seemed very kind and spent a lot of time in appointments but she has talked about her ideas about fight or flight and anxiety and she seems to be unaware that after fight or flight is freeze which is a form of dissociation and very important for all medical professionals to know about. i don't know how trauma informed she is but I have a lot of medical anxiety and she would pick up on it and then focus on that rather than my physical health and there are studies showing that this is common with medical professions. for me when doctors do this I always get even more anxious because I know they are focusing on the wrong thing. I once was in a class where Anna O'Malley was a teacher and she talked about doing no harm and yet she did cause me a lot of harm and her way of doing medicine and her ideas about anxiety have left me more afraid of all doctors in general and it took me years to be less avoidant of doctors knowing most of them probably have the same ideas that she has. I am thankful that she validated the impression I had that if doctors see my anxiety they stop listening to me and believing me about health symptoms which delays proper diagnosis. her actions are extremely common among health professionals and part of why there is so much medical disparities for people with mental illness. Neither of them took me seriously and neither of them were able to give me proper diagnosis. I now am having to have a second surgery and this one probably would have been prevented if the doctors at coastal health hadn't been so focused on mental health and so hands off and just listened to me and done the right tests and helped me find the specialists to treat my physical health problems. I notice all the 5 star reviews on yelp for coastal health alliance are for years back when they had different staff. I hope at some point some new doctors will work there and I might consider it an option again when sick. I am very disappointing in Coastal Health Alliance. They really need better doctors and the people living out in coastal Marin deserve decent medical care. They need doctors that don't do diagnostic overshadowing for anxious and or depressed people.
Thank you coastal health alliance you are great every time! Felt safe. Well served. Keeping me healthy thanks again
Coastal health Alliance has lost its way. The last 3 years has seen multiple changes in doctors and availabilities to see a doctor. The newest, Dr Sidue, wants only to see patients via texts or personal phone calls. If you don't want to examine patients in person you should be in a different profession. Mike Witte would be sad.
The best part is the people who care and want to help you.
been going here since 2012 I love doctor O'Malley she is what a doctor is supposed to be she actually cares about me and follows through and tries to help me in my life she is awesome!
Everyone I have ever encountered here has been friendly and helpful. As a patient with Kaiser Permanente insurance, I really appreciate that they will take it without actually being a Kaiser clinic. Otherwise, I'd have to drive an hour each way to get to a Doctor's office. I have never felt hurried out of an appointment, although occasionally, the professionals having to deal with emergencies ahead of me has meant I've had to wait a while. A hint with respect to this or any doctor's office is to get an early appointment, as delays will build up through the day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
