Acuity Eye Group - Pomona's Online Review Report Card

I am surprised this place hasn't more 1-star reviews. We did a procedure out of pocket which I paid 100% cash on the day of. But then they billed me from 3 different business units a month afterwards, and for more than the original procedure amount I had already paid in full. Their organization is sloppy and so fragmented and so when I called to discuss correcting the incorrect billing, they told me they must "email their such and such department then get back" to me. They never got back to me and I had to follow up weeks later in order to insist they resolve it before I start getting past due notices of their incorrect billings. After that, I acquired insurance and had one more visit with their doctor for the final step of my procedure. They then charged me a $50 copay on that visit when it should be $0 copay. I discussed this with my insurance company and they told me Acuity were wrong and I should demand a $50 refund. So I called Acuity Pomona and again they said, "We will email our such and such department then get back to you." That's 4 different overbilling errors. And to make matters worse, I seem to be having a bad result from the last procedure but when I called to ask if I could discuss my observations with my doctor by phone, they tell me that their doctor doesn't speak to patients except in medical appointment and I will have to talk to a technician or assistant who will call me back sometime later.Don't use this company.

Beware for those on VSP coverage.However excellent place to get your examination, this facility does not house optometrist for your eye glasses.What this means is that whomever on VSP coverage won't be able to get their glasses made here (although you will be met with wonderful staffs) Further complicate the issue, most optometrist won't see you unless you get your examination done at the same time. Meaning by mistake, if you get your examination here, you will suffer the grave consequences.Your only option at this point is to travel to their nearest frenchise to location which "occasionally" has in house optometrist which is in Rowland heights.And by god. All these was not explained at the front nor when I was making the appointment.On VSP website list this facility as "premier" meaning it's all in one stop shopping. Which is not.By not disclosing such a small detail made me waste time and money. Plus headaches.

Very happy with Dr. Davis and his staff all very professional. My waiting was very minimal And left I left happy.

Great staff, friendly knowledgeable,Dr Davis was great.Never a long wait and always ready to answer any questions I might have!

I was having eye problems and didn't have an eye doctor. Thankfully, I found Dr. Saba Nawazish and am I ever happy I did. She is the best. Smart, compassionate and kind. Not once did I feel hurried or that she wasn't listening to me and my concerns. Obviously I cannot guarantee everyone will have the same great experiences I did, but I can tell you this. If you go to her, you'll never be sorry. Ever.

First time here and service is spectacular. The eye assistant Karla with a K  is super awesome. She ran all my tests and explained everything. She is sooo nice! Also, Dr. Bedrood is extremely nice as well.

Dr. Davis faxed updates to both my optometrist and general practitioner about the changes in my vision. I found him to be very pleasant and efficient. I would definitely recommend the facility and Dr. Davis.

The only thing that Didn’t like is the waiting time to sign in at arrival because there is not a sign in sheet and the gentleman behind the counter takes his sweet time to ask you your name and check the status of your paperwork meantime answering the phone calls. Put back the sign in sheet or the lady that knows all the patients by name at the register. Thank you all.

Dr. Davis's office staff is extremely professional, well organized, timely, personable, knowledgeable and a great asset to the organization. Dr. Davis is beyond words. He is a terrific doctor: compassionate, caring, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Both he and his office staff make you feel like you are their one and only patient. Great job!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they really made me feel comfortable. They took care and time to explain each of my procedure. Dr. Davis was just as caring and took his time to make sure that I was comfortable. I definitely recomend them for your eye care.
