Lew Disney's Online Review Report Card

I went to Dr Disney for an evaluation of my entire spine. I have cervical spondylitis along with DDD and stenosis. I've had 2 surgeries on my lumbar spine. He was thorough compassionate and reviewed every aspect of my spine. I would totally recommend him 100%. I would not go anywhere else till you meet with Dr Lew Disney.

I have nothing but good thing to say about Dr. Disney. He is attentive to your needs and concerns and he takes all the time you need to help you feel comfortable with your decisions. Back Surgery for me was a great success and after care was perfect. If I ever have problems again he is who I will call. Thank you Dr. Disney

About 10 years ago my back had gotten to the point that I could not walk across a parking lot. I suffered from degenerative disc disease and I knew I would need some serious surgery. As an attorney, I knew a lot of local doctors and I called several and asked them who they would select to have surgery on a family member. The first three said Dr. Disney. He wasn't on my insurance plan, so I changed plans so that he could treat me. I underwent surgery twice. A 2-level cervical fusion and a 4 level lumbar fusion. It changed my life. Within a year I was playing basketball again and have continued to do so. I have referred many friends to him over the years. He truly is an amazing doctor and a very nice man. I could not recommend him highly enough.

Dr Disney was my surgeon for my Lower Back Surgery. Thanks to him I can once again live the life I had before the injury. Basically he's a Saint!

I had a fusion performed by Dr. Disney that gave me my life back.

Dr. Disney performed a 4 level spine fusion on my lower back in 2008. Prior to the surgery I was a mess. I could not exercise and at times could not even walk. Within a year I was playing basketball again. I always refer friends and family to him (especially for second opinions). He save my back and I will beforever thankful.

Went to the ER at the Queen of the Valley for a fairly large herniated disc (9-10mm) at the L5-S1 site on Thursday July 9th. The dip---- physician's assistant in the ER had no idea what was wrong with me, didn't believe my pain, and thought after an X-Ray, I could go home in a wheelchair. At that time, I had lost the ability to sit in a chair, the ability to walk effectively, and the ability to control bladder/bowel. Somehow I got an MRI scan, then got admitted later that afternoon by the ER doc. He, Dr Kollar. knew. The attending physician Dr Ali knew as well. They would refer me to a specialist immediately. Spoke with Dr. Disney the following Friday afternoon. He listened, he understood. I never felt more relieved in my life. Prior to that, most of the ER/Nursing staff didn't believe me. My dad and mom didn't believe me. I had my sister call me for what a mistake I made in going to the hospital. But Dr. Disney knew the amount of pain I was in, and was willing to operate on me as soon as the next day, Saturday July 11th. I, later learned his regular schedule was booked for a solid two months. He was a busy man, who was willing to make time out of his life for my injury. Bless him. The discectomy was a success. I was pain-free finally after 4.5 months of agony. I walked out of the hospital the same day of the operation. I had a follow-up scheduled 2 weeks, later, and after that 6 weeks to make sure everything is going well. It has been, this is September 19th, 2015, and as of right now I'm writing free of the debilitating pain which has taken so much time from me. I owe my life to Dr. Disney. .
