Went to see this Dr under emotional distress and depression and asked for SDI for one month while I recovered. No only do they not process paperwork online, but they charge an fee to have the paperwork filled out. This entire process took 8 days. Dr. Vemuri is an Ok doctor but her staff is really rude and condescending. When our health insurance temporarily lapsed due to Covid 19 and a job change, they said she refused to renew any prescriptions and wouldnt even make an appt even though I offered to pay cash for the visit. I was told I was “dropped” as a patient with no communication from the doctor.

I have been going to Dr Vemuri for a number of years and have always found her compassionate and caring. She takes the time to listen to you and answer any questions you have. She also follows up with you on any medical issue you have. I'm glad she's come to Porterville and will continue to go to her.

When I went to see Dr. Vemuri for the first time I didn't know what to expect. My kidney function was falling and I was worried. Dr. Vemuri answered all my questions in a very thorough manner and allayed all my fears. She is always willing to listen and answer any questions I may have and works with me so that I can learn more about my situation.

I really appreciate Dr Vemuri. She's thourogh, professional, and kind. I have had many lab tests done. She checks for everything. I had rectal cancer over a year ago and I trust her to continue checking my blood work. She enters the exam room with a big smile and calms patients down. Couldn't ask for a better doctor

Dr. Vemuri and her office staff are compassionate and professional. Can sometimes be a very busy office but worth the wait because the doctor takes her time to help you. The office staff is always happy to help and remember who you are.
