List of Casey Fisher's Reviews
I wish Dr. Fisher knew how many patients have walked away due to disrespectful treatment by his staff and this has been going on for years. Unanswered phone calls, non returned messages, complete lack of follow through on referrals and test orders are just a few of the obstacles that I have encountered with nary an apology. Dr. Fisher is in desperate need of a competent Office Manager who will teach the staff compassion and professionalism. That is, if it matters.
I feel Dr. Casey Fisher is an excellent diagnostician and pain solver. Since being thrown from a car in 1969, I have been proactively searching for help with ongoing chronic pain. Dr. Fisher went FAR beyond my former specialists by diagnosing and treating three separate pain generators. And then he reduced my residual chronic pain by 80%! First, sciatic pain. Dr. Fisher was the only doctor to offer treatment for my 3-year sciatic pain. In a 20-minute outpatient procedure he implanted a new device, that none of my other doctors had heard of - The VERTIFLEX (a vertebrae spacer) for moderate spinal stenosis. It has given me total relief for over 3 years. Yahoo!Second, facet joint pain. Since 2007 I have had repeated ablations for two of my low back facet joints. Dr. Fisher suspected I needed more treatment. After two diagnostic injections for each suspected facet joint, he successfully treated NINE. No prior doctor had thought of testing more than the two that my MRI suspected. Dr. Fisher "listened" to my symptoms. Bless him. Third, PRP for Coccyx pain. While doing another procedure, he noticed my tailbone was slightly curved. He injected PRP into the area. Relief!Fourth, remaining chronic pain. In May of this year, Dr. Fisher implanted a NEVRO Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) for my low back and referred leg pain. He chose the Nevro as it is the only SCS with high frequency treatment with no uncomfortable symptoms and the ability to drive and sleep with it on. Before the implant, I was limited to very short walks (just three houses). Now just over 3 months, I joined by friends for a five and one half mile brisk walk at San Dieguito Lagoon and felt "refreshed" afterwards. My back pain was reduced by 85% and my leg issues reduced by 75%. In his lobby is a chart showing his office results from implanting the Nevro SCS. Love being among his many success stories.
I always have great experiences with Dr. Fisher and staff. They are professional, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher; he is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Everything is done to put you at ease and provide the highest level of service. The entire office is caring and wonderful. The doctor works with a gentle expertise and delivers the service that cannot be matched! He is very efficient, knowledgeable, and his work is fantastic, you are in great hands. He is so kind, respectful, gentle, and genuinely cares about his patients. He sets my stress at ease just by calmly explaining the process. He's very nice and professional. I can go on and on about Dr. Fisher... but just to close my review in few more words: He is REMARKABLE, METICULOUS, amazingly GENTLE, encouraging and understanding about my issues. I highly recommend him!!!
I had the misfortune of seeing a pain doctor in Escondido near the new Palomar Hospital for several years because I did not know where else to go. He treated me like a criminal. I was stressed out for several years. Then I found Dr. Casey Fisher. It was relief at the beginning. I felt I could talk openly. He never made me feel like I was "bad". I was doing great until a 'friend" stole nearly half of a new prescription from me. Someone I had helped for years. I became then the "bad" person. All the stress came back. The sense of knowing what a good person I am was questioned and I was declared quilty. Guilty before a chance to tell him that a friend of mine betrayed me. Someone he actually treats. I do not know where this will end but at 80 and hurting I have decided human beings are not basically good and my nature to live some is severely misplaced. I will say this lack of trust in me has placed a wound in my heart that may never ever leave. Having to take pain meds is a curse and God help you if someone steals your meds.My "friend" was no friend at all..is my Dr. Going the same direction? I will know tomomrrow and perhaps post the outcome . Fishers office says no one EVER steals just part of a rx. He doesn't know patients that well!!!! I am devastated.
Dr Fisher is knowledgeable, listens well, discusses your concerns and offers many options to better manage your particular pain. He doesnt just hand out meds. He is only at this office two days a week so availability can be an issue, but he shows compassion and interest to his patients. Wait times are variable but the office is comfortable and the staff are pleasant, but you get good care when you are seen.
The worst! Don't go here!! What a terrible Dr. I have been here so many times with my dad and they have done lots of treatments and nothing has helped. I think the front desk help is on pills. Turned us away because we were 13 minutes late when they have made us wait over an hour to see them. BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Dr. Fisher is great at pain management. He really understands both compassionately and knowledgably about how to work with people in tremendous pain. I have been seeing him for 3 years now, and between Dr. Fisher and my Rheumatologist, they have taken me from being suicidal from pain, to enjoying life again, and able to work well in my job and love it again. I just completed my Doctorate and could not have done so without his help and support. He exercises good judgement, is careful when he needs to be, and shows compassion appropriately. He gets going a bit fast sometimes, but will slow down if you ask him to. He really cares, and it shows. He went through some difficult times in the beginning with his staff, and scheduling, etc, but now his office runs like a well oiled machine, and mostly stays right on time. As a doctor myself, I have referred many patients to him, and am delighted to have the opportunity to share my experiences with you !!!
I have had ongoing back pain issues for many years. I found Dr. Fisher to be a breath of fresh air! He is an excellent diagnostician and provides state of the art procedures of which I have received. First, I had been told by other doctors my sciatic pain and bilateral numbness was NOT spinal stenosis. Dr. Fisher put my symptoms above the MRI and typical screening tests and suggested a new device at that time - The Vertiflex. I returned to my prior doctors and they were unaware of it and wished me luck. A 20 minute implant procedure and in a short time my sciatic pain disappeared! Later, the Vertiflex was purchased by Boston Scientific and is gaining in usage. 2) I have had several lumbar facet nerve ablations in the past at the L3/4-L4/5 which helped a lot but still had many remaining symptoms. He offered to test other facet joints (no one offered this before) and found them to also be sources of pain. Thank you, thank you Dr. Fisher.
What a joy to be treated by a physician who truly cares about the patient. Dr Fisher’s office runs on time, ALWAYS, he takes time to listen to the patient. He works with the patient to improve their quality of life, and insure their wellbeing. I have a chronic condition and have been treated by other physicians in the San Diego area, none as professional, knowledgeable, and caring as Dr. Casey Fisher. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher and his staff to anyone needing PAIN RELIEF SOLUTIONS.
I highly recommend Dr. Casey Fisher and his outstanding staff !I have had a handful of pain management doctors and he is by FAR the BEST!Recently Dr. Casey gave injections in my back and is very slow and easy. His staff is also fantastic. Mark, Maria, Kiersty, Kylie, Claudia, Marcela, Belen, Lindsey, Dennis and Jessica make everyone feel important and cared for.Get in before Dr. Casey is filled up!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
