I have been a patient of Dr. KOOISTRA’s for many years. He treated me for several things, the biggest being malignant melamine. I can’t imagine giving him or his staff anything BUT 5 stars. If you are looking for a dermatologist who knows his field, has clean orderly facilities and friendly staff, this is your man and office. I recommend him highly and without reservation. My aunt and I both went to Dr. Kooistra, and he performed a number of treatments. He is so busy because he is so good!

He make hole in my face and not even tried to fix it. I have to live with what he did for the rest of my life. I wish I did not choose him as a dermatologist. Only thing just said he is sorry.

I'm reviewing the woman who answered the phone. I called to confirm an appointment and was placed on hold for 4 minutes then hung up on. I called back to a busy line. Finally got through and the same woman said she didn't know how we were disconnected. I clearly had heard her pick up and disconnect. Girl, just apologize! She said her office manager had to get the information because it isn't in their system (?). I said ok, can you call me back? She said she would and then hung up again! No closing, no goodbye! Please have some manners for your customers. We have choices.

Every time I go here have to wait 20 plus minutes cause he's running behind fun! Seems like they need to get it together here, some of the front desk girls need to be better trained they act like high school girls gossiping during recess lol. More professionalism is necessary, goes for the Dr. as well. I was not satisfied with anything from the treatment to the billing behind in sending out invoices and other things, nothing good to report!

I'd been going to Dr. Kooistra for 15 years and he's always been a really great doctor. In fact, he'd always made it easy to find time to see him in between appointments or at the start/end of a day if it was an emergency. Unfortunately, his office staff has gone downhill significantly, and they make it very difficult to to find appointments that work with your schedule. I hate to sound like one of those people, but to be totally honest his office staff are on a weird power trip about controlling the Doctor's schedule. While I still think Dr. Kooistra is a really good physician, his staff is incredibly combative, rigid and unhelpful. In reality, you need a doctor who is available and can see you in a timley manner. Until Dr. Kooistra changes his staff or his scheduling policies, I can't recommend him to other people.
