Dr. Bried has done two knee replacements and the most recent was a hip replacement mid December 2021. Dr. Bried is a fantastic surgeon. All 3 of my surgeries have had a great outcome. Dr. Bried’s staff is very professional and caring.

As a retired surgeon, I understand that there are vast differences in skills among surgeons. When I needed a shoulder replacement, I did my homework to find the most skilled surgeon available. I found him in Dr. James Bried. He is gifted and made the whole experience at Palomar Hospital and the post op recovery as easy as possible. Great surgeon usually equals great outcome. He is the best!

Dr Bried and staff dud a great job on my total knee replacement. I was very happy with their pre and post infection prevention protocols. At five weeks since surgery, my knee is healing quickly, with great mobility. I went to the outpatient surgery center, and was back home within a few hours. Dr. Bried recommended an in-home ice therapy machine, which did a great job reducing swelling and minimizing the need for pain meds.

Dr. Bried is my favorite medical professional to date....and I've worked with doctors my entire career. He is lighthearted, has an excellent bedside manner, is thorough in answering questions, has an excellent sense of humor, and just happens to be a fantastic surgeon, above all else. Dr. Bried was able to correct another surgeon’s mistake. I went from being in a wheelchair and having constant, unbearable pain to being able to walk pain free. He also was able to lengthen my leg that was shortened from the other surgeon’s lack of skill. I will be forever grateful for the total hip replacement Dr Bried gave me.

Dr. Jim Bried repaired my right should w/ a traditional shoulder replacement. After 5 weeks my shoulder has zero pain and I have 80% range of motion compared to 45% prior to surgery. Thank you Dr. Jim and your staff for giving me back the use of my right shoulder.
