Kevin Owsley Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Owsley is an outstanding physician and surgeon. He replaced my left shoulder in 2019 prior to the pandemic and the results have been terrific, with the return of full mobility and strength. Dr. Owsley just completed my right shoulder replacement and I am well on my way to recovery with home health PT, then outpatient PT.

He diagnosed my problem on the first visit and scheduled my for surgery.

He is very kind and is patient with his patients.

Dr. Owsley is an absolutely amazing doctor. I’ve been his patient for many years leading up to my recent knee surgery and he has the most wonderful bedside manner. He listened to my concerns and worked with me to be able to put off my surgery as long as possible due to my age. I will be needing my other knee done in a few years and will be returning to him again. I work in the medical field and have recommended him to both my family and patients looking for an orthopedic surgeon

He listens to me and responds to my needs. I have confidence in him. And his expertise provided a perfect prosthetic hip. He’s the best.

I decided to not meet with Dr. Owsley after how the staff responded for my request for an appointment when I called them. Extremely impatient and cutting me off at every question before I could complete the question. And the person I was speaking to started acting as if she was not able to hear me, while she was able to hear me fine until then. And when I asked her why she was doing that, she said she would try increasing the volume and then put me on hold music and never came back. And all this happened in a span of 2-3 minutes.

I meet Dr. Owsley several years ago the 3rd opinion on my shoulder. This shoulder already had several surgeries before. Dr. Owsley was very professional and answered my questions. He was very vocal that I really don't want another shoulder surgery which was true. After months of physical therapy, Dr. Owsley did the shoulder surgery and it was 100% successful. My physical therapist was shocked at how much improvement a few weeks after surgery. Dr. Owsley saw me for a few knee issues and my other shoulder. He did knee surgery as well which was helpful but the shoulder was a major help. He can run late but I really don't mind that. Another orthopedic surgeon (that has special training hands) at another orthopedic group has raved on Dr. Owsley surgery ability. That is a statement itself.

Dr. Owsley is conservative in his approach to surgery. We decided on meniscus surgery last September in hopes that would take care of my pain. Unfortunately my knee pain continued, so we scheduled a total knee replacement 7 months later. He was patient with all my questions and explained the process in detail. Dr. Owsley will be replacing my other knee in July.

Dr. Owsley performed total hip replacement on me. Everything went smoothly and I am enjoying painfree mobility again.

Dr. Owsley is fantastic. I have had multiple knee surgeries over the years, but I trusted Dr. Owsley with the big one...a full knee replacement. And he was awesome. His demeanor, his knowledge, his skill...they are all amazing.
