Garbage. Pure garbage. Their voice mail clearly states 24 hour call back; forget about it. They don't care. I called and left a thorough message with name, number and birthdate, repeated the info and no return call. Called their answering service and left another thorough message and was told I should follow up my message with a phone call the following day. Why in the world should I follow up with a call when I'm leaving another message? I was reassured they would call me the next day. Nope. Nada. They close on Fridays at 2pm and I remembered how I never heard from them at 230pm. These clowns are a joke. If they don't care about their customer service In making appiontments, then they don't care about their procedures, their work or anything. UPDATE YOUR VOICE MAIL TO SAY WE WILL NEVER CALL YOU BACK AND TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Excellent! I have Crohn’s for years and have seen lots of specialist for this disease. In one visit Dr. Zakko has helped me tremendously. His office staff is very compassionate and helpful, very patient. I have never taken the time to give reviews until this one, - the very best care and help deserves a rating. A+ Dr. Zakko, asks the right questions and takes the time to listen, along with his vast knowledge and experience, which is ever so apparent. Gratefully, Jon H.

Sweet and compassionate doctor for my endoscopy

Dr. Zakko is a gentle, attentive and an overall wonderful human being.

My wife and I have both had colonoscopies with Dr. Zakko. His staff was courteous and very helpful. His explanation of the results was direct and thorough. I cannot imagine a better experience.

Was referred to Dr.Zakko by my primary care physician. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated by this physician. First of all, how does a physician dictate a "History and Physical" on someone they have never even met? Very poor way to practice medicine in my opinion. Then as I was being wheeled into the procedure room for an UGI Endoscopy this physician would not even take a minute to listen to my concerns. He totally blew me off. After the procedure was over, while I was still very sedated he stopped by and the only thing I remember him saying was "biopsy". He never bothered to contact me later in the day or any time after the procedure when I was recovered from the sedation, and could have understood what he was saying. Very disappointed with this physician and I will not be following up with him.

My experience with Parkway Endoscopy Center was a very positive one. This is a well-managed facility. I liked being able to do most of the pre-admissions process online. I received communications regarding my procedure date and time exactly as I had been told I would. The entire medical and administrative personnel are very friendly, personable, and professional. Dr. Zakko is very good and he has a wonderful support staff.

I believe in getting a regular colonoscopy because it is vital in the fight against colon cancer and other afflictions in your intestines, etc.  Granted, not many people enjoy them or the preparation ahead of time, but between the staff and Dr. Zakko himself, I was very relaxed and felt that I was in wonderful hands.  His demeanor was very pleasant, and he fixed himself on me...giving me his complete attention.  That was huge!  And, his staff was the same way; patient, attentive, and thoroughly pleasant.  I even sent a little gift afterwards thanking them for making a potentially uneasy experience a pretty relaxed one.  Bravo!

My husband and I had colonoscopy- performed by Dr Zakko- as well as endoscopy’ Very professional stress free Doctor; I am referred again to this Doctor due to positive result on occult blood test: hopefully, everything will turn out well, look forward to meet Dr. Zakko again
