Maryam Zarei's Online Review Report Card

In 1999, I moved from Riverside County to San Diego County and that was when my chronic hives (urticaria) began. I was told that the cause could've been an environmental change, stress related, or perhaps food related. I have tried all different ways of treating my urticaria. Going from seeing a couple allergists to acupuncture to diet change to holistic medicine, etc. Each day I had to take 3-5 anti-histamine pills with combination of Zyrtec, Allegra, Benadryl and Claritin. Yes it works for that day/night and the cycle starts over the next day. This wasn't fun for me and it got worst each year. In 2019, I went to see Dr. Maryam Zarei, and of course I put on my front and doubt as you can imagine why. She recommended me to try Xolair. I didn't want to go there. My urticaria in 2020 and into 2021 got worse and worse. So finally I went back to see her and gave her a chance. If you're reading this, you may have come across the same as I went through my 22 years of chronic hives. Hopefully your is less. Let me tell you, please go see Dr. Maryam Zarei. She is one of the best. By having the Xolair injection every 4-7 weeks. My urticaria went away, I hope forever. I started the Xolair injection June 2021 and up to now November 2021 as I'm writing this review. I haven't had any swelling of my lips, big patches of swelling all over my body, itchiness, etc. I think you know what I meant here. Go see Dr. Zarei, this was a game/life changer for me. Bless your beautiful heart Dr. Maryam for caring and understanding my concerns. I cried to her and if I can give a million Stars to said how wonderful to NOT to have to worry about my urticaria and to said how terrific Dr. Zarei is. I would give her a million Stars rating!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Due to Covid, I lost job, terrible coverage for Medical, and suffered a severe allergy which I have never experienced in all my life.  I was referred  to Dr. Zarei by a Dermatologist in Escondido.  Dr. Zarei, was amazing, she was patient, listened to me, ruled things out, and tried to do all she could without accruing major cost.  Without giving my health details, this Doctor went above and beyond and her staff to help me through this terrible ordeal that I had gone through months prior to be under Dr. Zarei care.   I am no allergy free as in I know my specific allergy and have completely recovered and really thought some plastic surgery may have been in the cards.  Her after care, prescribing natural care, not antibiotics or steroids.  Dr. Zarei and her staff are purely brilliant!!!

I haven’t come across a dr yet that is so loving and caring like Dr Zarei. Her staff are very friendly and helpful . But more than anything, she has this calming and understanding energy that is so powerful. Absolutely recommend her!

Over charges in my humble opinion and office manager is very unkind and rude is you have a discrepancy. If you ask for theDoctor to call you the office manager says no!

I am appalled at this offices billing charges.My son needed a piece of paper signed by the Dr. stating the medication he was able to self administer at boarding school. The Dr. had to write down Zyrtec, Benadryl and Epi Pen and sign form.  Office staff said there is a  $15 charge to sign paperwork.  I asked to speak with the Dr and office staff said she refused.  So sad that it is all about the mighty dollar.  You would think after charging over $700 for allergy testing,  signing a piece of paper pertaining to the medication recommended would be included.

Dr. Zarei is the single most CARING doctor I have ever met, her staff as well, they are all absolutely the BEST I've ever encountered. Especially nowadays when doctors are all trying to get your in and out through the door, she is a breath of fresh air. If you are looking for an individual who GENUINELY cares about your well being, don't look any further. Thank you Dr. Zarei from the bottom of my heart for helping me with my asthma. Please never change, the world needs more doctors like you.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Zarei on a regular basis for more than 5 years. She is great and very knowledgeable on matters including those that are not even her specialty. If you want to get your allergy or breathing problems solved, there is no one better than Dr. Zarei. And she has a great staff.

Dr. Zarei saved my life numerous times over the years. She remembers my detailed health history. She and her staff are very efficient, caring, and well-trained. She has gone to the source of my problems both in and out of her areas of expertise.

Dr. Zarei and her staff remember my detailed medical history, are efficient, caring, listen, and solve all health problems at the source.  She saved my life when an Internist overlooked diarrhea for 4 months.  She controls my asthma even at its worst, and I do not have to take antihistamines & shots regularly anymore.  I have seen her for about 11 years, and recommend her to everyone I know with allergies.  She's the best doctor ever!
