Dr. London is as good as they come!

The Doctor answered all of my questions in a courteous manner. The staff were friendly and was not kept waiting long.

Dr. London saved my boyfriend's sight. He's absolutely incredible! He handled continuous emergency retinal detachments in both eyes, a macular hole, and other serious issues over a period of 3 or so years and made us feel like family each and every time we went to his office(s). The office is often full of patients but he's well worth any wait. He's a busy guy but always took the time to reach out personally to make sure he was doing okay and that we had any and all information we needed. As good as he is, you'd think he'd have a bit of an ego but his bedside manner is excellent too... and a great sense of humor. Kind of an all around gem. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a positive, confident, skilled eye surgeon they can trust.

Dr. London is one of the best physicians I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with his patients. Dr. London did 2 vitrectomys for a detached retina (the second one with a scleral buckle) on my severely myopic right eye. I have since moved back to Texas and see my local retina specialist every 6 months - he always comments on what a great outcome I had from the surgeries done in San Diego. If you need complex retina care, I would definitely point you in his direction.

The worst experience. Begged for an appointment for weeks, was told “it’s not an emergency “. Actually it was a torn retina that then became detached. The worst possible outcome. Both Dr London and Dr Jain were indifferent. Very painful repair to the tear because it was there so long and hence very large. I almost lost the sight in that eye. If not for a better and caring doctor, I would have. Every body has off days but this one deserves a lawsuit. The staff in the Front street office are terrific though.

I took my sister to see Dr. London after she complained of eye problems. Her appointment was scheduled right away. Thankfully her issues were resolved and no further treatment was needed. I would highly recommend him. He is a wonderful and very kind Dr. who cares about his patients.

I had a vitrectomy with Dr. London. Everything went well with the surgery. However, because of a different medical procedure I ended up in the ER - NOT for Covid - and missed my surgery follow up appointment. When I tried to reschedule, the creature at the front desk told me that because I'd been in the ER I could not come in to the office for 14 days. Okay never mind that my eye could be infected and I could lose my vision for the rest of my life. I went Karen on her and got her manager on the phone who promptly made an appointment for me this afternoon. Come on people! You have to continue to THINK despite the "deadly virus" that is irrationally scaring the bejesus out of you. But otherwise everyone there has been topnotch, the procedure went perfectly, and I would definitely recommend Dr. London.

I visited Dr London for an exam related to a possible macular issue. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and demeanor. He took all of the time that I needed to explain his assessment in a fashion that a non-expert could understand. I can recommend him to other patients without reservations.

Dr. London and his staff are exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The surgery Dr. London did was fast and pain free. He takes time to explain, in layman’s terms, every aspect of the procedure and really put me at ease. He is a skilled surgeon who is very detailed oriented. He is professional but friendly. And his office staff are helpful and happy. And they are not going to try to talk you into any procedure that you absolutely don’t need. They are honest and caring of their patients.

Dr. London preformed a Vitrectomy on 4/17/19 at their Surgery Center. I was done in 15 minutes without any complications. Because I’m extremely claustrophobic and I also hate needles, I was terrified. Dr.London assured me that all I needed for this procedure was deep sedation which was safer and recovery much shorter. I had it done in their Surgery Center which is lovely and relaxing as opposed to a loud germy hospital. It was a more intimate setting and cheaper out of pocket as they were also in network with my insurance. I’m 2 weeks post op and my vision is improving everyday! I’m thrilled with the results! The macular “pucker” is gone and healing nicely. Thank you Dr. London for a great job and thorough follow up visits!
