List of Sam Filiciotto's Reviews
Love love love him! I won’t go anywhere else!
Dr Filiciotto was very personable, knowledgeable, and informative. We were very anxious about my husband’s condition and he eased our anxiety with a very understandable explanation of what was happening. Fortunately, the situation resolved without surgery but we were grateful he would have been our surgeon had he needed it.
Dr Filiciotto did An excellent job with my father. It was early in the pandemic and I was heartbroken that I could not be there with him. Dr. Filiciotto helped put my mind at ease. He did an excellent job clearing my fathers intestinal blockage. I cannot say enough good things about him.
Dr Sam did a very thorough interview , exam, review of my radiological studies which took 2 hours... he practices like a country doctor... and I mean this as a compliment.
I ended up in the hospital with really bad stomach pains and ended up having to get my gallbladder removed. Dr. Filiciotto came and took over an hour to explain the whole procedure to me and my husband who was on the phone.. Due to covid my husband and family were unable to be in the hospital with me. I was so scared and filed with so much anxiety. He then after explaining the surgery and procedure asked if I would like to say a prayer. I was amazed that this doctor not only took the time he genuinely cared. My nerves and anxiety were relieved and I knew I was in good hands. The surgery went well and I feel so much better! I am truly grateful for Dr.FIliciotto!
Horrible doctor. He lied about my diagnosis and said I had a hole in my intestines. Was in the hospital for 9 Days. When I said I had stomach pain he got mad and didn’t believe me. I kept telling him and nothing . He accused me of wanting to stay out of work. What I had was stomach blockages caused by scar tissue build up. I went on to have two additional surgeries and almost died due to this misdiagnosis.
His office staff is VERY rude and unprofessional. You don't call a patient and yell at them, turn the surgeon on the patient. If you tell the patient I finish what I start then you turn around and tell that patient to find a new surgeon when all they want to do is finish the proceedure. I will be complaining to the Board.
Thank you for taking your time explaining everything to us. Thank you
My husband was in the ICU at Pomerado hospital and Dr. Sam (as he's called) was brought in to consult. When he called, he wanted to know all about my husband, not just about his health. Who he was, what his hobbies were, etc. No surgeon has ever asked those kinds of questions. He's excellent at explaining things so a non-medical person can understand. He was always willing to answer whatever questions I had. He didn't end up having to do surgery and even after my husband was moved he called to check up and see how he was doing. Most doctors don't do that much less a surgeon. Without a doubt if I were to choose a surgeon he would be my first choice!!!!
Dr Felliciato saved my life ! He was awesome, very personable and humble .Im very greatful to him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
